The staff was great and accomodating. The location was perfect, and the breakfast was delicious.
They could have cleaned the room better. There was an used towel in the bathroom when we checked in.
2.0 / 5.0
The staff was above and beyond kind, helpful, and accommodating. We are so appreciative of the hospitality they showed us.
We debated writing a review because everyone that worked here was so incredibly nice and hospitable. But at the end of the day, we had multiple negative experiences while staying here and I feel it is important to say. Our room had multiple leaks from the ceiling which dripped into our room throughout our entire stay. Our toilet flooded onto the floor of the bathroom every time we flushed the toilet, getting dirty water everywhere. When we tried to communicate this problem to the staff, they told us they would take care of it by
the time we got back from our day trip. It’s very possible it was an issue of communication given the language barrier, but when we got back, although they had cleaned the bathroom floor, they did not fix the underlying issue with the toilet and it continued to flood throughout the remainder of our stay. Furthermore, they had gone through our bags and cleaned all of our clothes without asking us. This was an incredibly sweet gesture with good intentions, but it left us in a bad situation for two reasons. First, all of our clothes were wet and we were supposed to be leaving the next day, so we had to pack our bags with wet clothes and sleep in wet pajamas. Second, many of the clothes were left with a pink stain on them. This was incredibly frustrating.
I don’t want to discount the kindness that they showed us because other than these instances, they were truly so sweet. But unfortunately I am left with a very bad impression given the experience we had.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The patio area was beautiful and a lovely place to sit and drink a welcome glass of mint tea and to eat breakfast.

There was a young boy which helped us reach the riad and answered all our requests very politely. The only positive thing is the look of the property, however there has been no maintenance whatsoever in the years.
we had booked the most expensive room due to its decor for 2 nights but there were other guests staying there the 1 night. Wanted to give us the room on the ground floor which was in a disastrous condition both in terms of cleanliness (hairs in the bed and all over bathroom) and how things were not taken care of at all. We got our room on the 2nd day with slightly better facilities but bathroom was again disgusting, never properly cleaned... you could see traces from previous guests everywhere and tiles haven't been scrubbed in years seemingly.
Breakfast was a disappointment - a few olives, 2 spoons of honey and 2 slices of bread. We stayed in cheaper riads around the country which went above and beyond in that regard with jam, pancakes, fresh orange juice, fresh goat cheese etc.etc.

Yusef was incredibly friendly and helpful. The Riad was very clean and our bed was comfortable.
The shower wasn’t great and took a long time to drain. But it did have good pressure.

THe host Youssef always made sure we were taken care of and did his best to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the rooms spacious. The Riad itself is practicaly a palace.
A bit hard to reach without a guide, but would recommend visiting Fes with a guide anyway.

Riad is stunning. The staff is very helpful, and the price is good.
The bathroom door doesn't shut and there was no AC though the description says the rooms are air conditioned.

The breakfast was very good. You stay in a traditional Moroccan accommodation, in the middle of the medina and you can explore the old town very well on foot. The Riad is overall very clean and all the staff are friendly and take very good care of you. There is also a terrace with a fantastic view over the old town.
We would definitely stay there again, when we go to Fes again!

Yousef went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He answered all of the questions we had, arranged a guide to show the medina, and even walk us to the restaurants we wanted to go to, since the medina is a real maze if you don't know where to go.

Beautiful riad with a stunning terrace and a lovely staff.

The location in the city close to Bab R'cif is excellent. One of the big, signposted, touristic routes through Fès starts there, which helps a lot with navigation. Also you can quickly catch a taxi there.
The hosts Youssef and Saad were helpful and kind (thanks again for printing our flight tickets in the last minute!). The Riad is very beautiful and has lots of cool decorations.
As a guest you don't get a key to the house, you have to knock. It works most of the time, but one time we had to wait a few minutes. Nothing bad really :)
