The breakfast was delicious and over all our stay in Greta’s B&B was a very great experience!

Greta welcomed us with open arms. The room was spacious and clean. Location was right next to town. Absolutely fantastic - 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back!

A little off the beaten path

Greta is such a friendly and gorgeous host - really great. The location is quiet but just a short walk to city center, free parking. Breakfast is great, fresh cooked.

We'll never get used to double beds with only one mattress and bed linen - unfortunately it's everywhere in Ireland.

Everything was really good. Looking at the price you might expect a more modern (anno 2023) accommodation. It was a bit outdated.

Wow! Such an amazing stay! We stayed for two nights for a friends wedding. Firstly, Gretta was so lovely and welcoming. She gave us all the information we needed and helped us organise a taxi to our wedding reception. Room was lovely and cosy and was impeccable, amazingly clean!!! Loads of parking outside and situated in a lovely quiet estate less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of Killarney! We were wrecked on the second day after the wedding so napped during the day. When we woke, there was a little package at our door with some toiletries and fresh bottles of water; such a lovely touch! Last but definitely not least, was breakfast! WOW it was amazing! Best breakfast we have ever had and better than any we’ve had in 5 star hotels! Gretta makes beautiful home made scones and their menu has loads of options, not just a full Irish cooked breakfast. Poached/scrambled/fried eggs were all absolutely perfect both mornings. Literally couldn’t rave about it enough!! Gretta, you are a lady and you have such a beautiful business. Thank you for looking after us!

Breakfast at Algret House was excellent! Greta provided some of her homemade cherry scones in addition to the toast and our breakfast meals and my husband and I LOVED them, we actually took one to go when we left! I had waffles and mixed berries which were very yummy and my husband had the mini Irish breakfast. Greta even gave him an extra egg. She is so kind and the accommodations in general are so very comfortable and quiet. I loved our stay here and would absolutely recommend this B&B. It’s only a 10 minute walk or so to the shops and restaurants downtown which was wonderful. The bed was very plush and comfy, there was plenty of space in the room for our 4 suitcases and the shower had good hot water.

I had an amazing stay at Algret House! The location was perfect - close to everything but still far enough away from the town center that it was quiet. The room was cozy, and the breakfast was spectacular! The waffles and the scones in particular were delicious. Greta was so sweet and helpful! If I get back to Killarney I know where I will be staying. :)

Great location, great house, wonderful breakfast.

Greta is an excellent host, very welcoming. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Our room was a smaller one, but big enough for our stay and well-appointed. Algret House has adequate parking and is well-located for the centre of Killarney - only a few minutes walk so we never had to drive into the centre of town.

The bed was a bit hard for my bad back

Located in a quite part of killarney just 5 minutes walk to the city centre. We were welcomed like members of the family. Greta is a fantastic host who looked after us during our 3 night stay. The breakfasts are superb as are her own homemade scones. The rooms are spotlessly clean and really comfortable. We will be back

the hospitality was exceptional!! the host was so incredibly welcoming and friendly.... and served a delicious home made breakfast to start our day! Clean, comfortable room... with an excellent walkable location to the town center. highly recommend.

Greta was very welcoming. Nice warm room when we arrived. Lovely breakfast and homemade scones. Accomodation was spotless.

This was test place I stayed in all of Ireland! Lovely B&B! Al and Greta were so accommodating and friendly. Greta cooked breakfast (included in price) every morning. Room was bright, had desk and chair, Located in a very quiet neighborhood, very close to downtown. Had a key to the front door so I could come and go. Very highly recommended!

We had a lovely full Irish breakfast perfectly cooked and well presented and finished with Gretta's beautiful scones. Gretta and Alfie were very friendly and helpful during our stay and we would have no problem going back there in fact we are looking forward to it

I honestly can't think of anything we were unhappy with it was the perfect place to stay.

The Algret House B&B is the place to stay when visiting Killarney! It’s possible to park you car within without any cost and you the city center is just 10 minutes away walking. The room was clean and comfortable. Greta received us for the check in and every morning prepared the breakfast for us, including the most amazing homemade scones! She was always kind and always asked if we needed anything. I would 100% come back and I advise everyone to stay here while visiting Killarney!
