The position is perfect if you have a car to tour the island, within a 40-minute drive you get to everywhere. The self check-in process was smooth. Pool and barbecue area are shared (the property has 2 small houses to rent and one where a family lives). Comfortable parking area. The house itself is clean, with all it takes for a couple to have a comfortable stay. Bonus: the company of two cats!

The barbecue and the pool were very welcome. The kitchen was fully equipe and everything was provided. The host is very responsive.

The apartment is perfectly located to explore the whole island! Nearby is a big supermarket and a gas station and it is just 15 min away from the airport. In addition it was very comfortable, clean and we felt very safe during our stay 🙂👍

This place was amazing. We didn't realize when booking that it's basically a one-bedroom apartment, not just a room. There was a nice little kitchen, comfortable bed, huge bathroom, and a semi-private patio that connected to the pool. The location was beautiful. You are next to a small farm and you can see the ocean from the patio. Very close to Ribeira Grande for food and the beach. Manuel was a great host. He met us at the gate for our check-in and made us feel at home. Highly recommend and will stay here on our next visit to Sao Miguel.

The unit was clean and the host was friendly.

We stayed at the front unit which is only 5-10 metres from a main, busy road. The noise was unbearable with a car passing every few seconds. Windows needed to remain open as there was no AC which only aggravated the situation. The house was clean, but smelled of mould and damp. I know this is common to homes on the island so I will not overly criticize this aspect.

Great spacious room with a full equiped kitchen. Clean and comfy with lots of space. We stayed here with two kids and had more than enough room... Kind host with tips for eating and activities.

The house was very beautiful, clean garden and a beautiful swimming pool Manuel was very disponibile, he was giving good advices for restaurants, calderas and even a 10% discount to our trip to see the dolphins The market was 2 min away from the house,location of the house allowed us to visit all island in one week

The house is close to the motorway and there is a bit of noice from the traffic if you have a sensitive sleep but on another hand being close to that is easy to go everywhere on the island

The place is perfectly located! Every activity was just a few minutes drive away. Quiet place with a hence, so it is safe. Parking spot in front of the house. Und the house is huuuuuge! Couldn't belive it, how big it was. Everything was nice and clean, even the pool. There is a barbecue, didn't use it because we were so tired of our daily activities. Lovely place. There are 2 supermarkets nearby, which even open on sundays. And it's just a 10 minutes drive to the beach. By the way: the communication with the owner was very easy and fast! Loved everything here!

There is no towel rail to hang the wet towel in the bathroom. But this was no issue for us, we found some space to dry the towels.

Wifi didnt work, cooking stove didnt work, poor equipment in kitchen (we had to buy tablets for dishwasher a washingmaschine...)

We liked the surrounding view very much, very quiet, fresh.

Location was excellent for us. Very close to the main road to reach any corner of the island in 30-40 minutes. Quiet, yet 15 minutes to Pontà Delgada. Large supermarket just 5 minutes away. Well equipped kitchen and efficient washer. Manuel was a helpful host.

Not for those who loves hustle and bustle of the big city as it's in the country side. Also we were surrounded by very cute cows who were peeking at us from behind the fence. Occasionally a whiff of manure would come from the fields... Didn't bother us much, but something to consider if you are sensitive...
