The property and location was great! The layout of the cabin was amazing too!! The only thing was the pullout couch wasn’t clean as well as some of the other things, and some of the outlets weren’t working:(! but the location had great views and open space!

Awesome place

Two days of being in a snow globe with the deer grazing outside the window. What could be more wonderful!

This is a wonderful cabin with everything you could possibly need for a fun stay! We like to cook when we travel and the kitchen was well equipped. We fly fish on most of our trips and the location of this cabin is fabulous. We caught (& released) nice fish near the cabin! The deck is great for enjoying the evening, grilling dinner, and watching the deer that graze along the lawn.

The process was so easy. I Highly recommend it

This property was great! The view the awesome. The neighbors were so friendly. The cabin was great!!!! I do believe it is the best cabin in the entire town of Lake City!

We had the best family weekend here. The cabin sits right on the river with breathtaking views. We would absolutely stay here again!

Nice property with full kitchen , living room and 2 bedrooms. Nice porch with table and chairs. Backyard opens up to a stream. Close to Lake City. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I have been to Lake City many times in my life. This cabin sits just outside of town along the river. Can’t beat the peace of that.

Amazing cabin and location.

Coffee pot dirty, table light socket lose we fixed, kitchen sponge was gross, no shade on lights in bedrooms and bathroom, mattresses just ok, blanket in front bedroom not totally clean and front porch needed to be swept. Cabin is in a great location with beautiful views and right on the river but needs a bit of tlc.

Lovely setting and very comfortable cabin! Just the perfect size for us. Weather was beautiful and this little town is such a refreshing getaway!

We needed a quiet place to retreat from crazy day to day life in Texas. This was where we needed to be. It was quiet, and gorgeous. The cabin was comfortable and well-equipped, the weather cold enough to enjoy the woodstove and our only regret is the snow all melted. However, it more than exceeded our expectations and we left refreshed and renewed for life back in "civilization". Hmmm... Perhaps civilization is actually found in a cabin, on a river, in Colorado...

We loved this cabin! We had four adults in our party and even though the cabin is small, it never felt small. The kitchen and living area is nice and open. The beds were comfy. No AC but we didn't need it. We just opened the windows to let in the breeze as needed. We loved the updated look. It had a modern, rustic feel to it. Added little things that surprised us were the fishing rods left for us to use and the Smart TV! The river was great for fishing and we enjoyed gold panning in it as well. The only suggestions we have is to maybe mount TV on wall to free up table space and to add window coverings in the living area for privacy when needed. Other than that, this place is perfect! For the price, you won't find a nicer more updated rental with river frontage in Lake City!

Perfectly located on a nice stretch of the river. We enjoyed the porch, the firepit and fishing the deep hole in the river near the cabin. Wildlife abounds...deer, beaver, hummingbirds and bears...oh my! While the owners have done several updates, new mattresses and bedding would make this place darn near perfect! Window treatments in the bedrooms are a must...not everyone wants to be up at daylight on their vacation and a little privacy is alway important!! Instructions for the TV would be a great addition as well as instructions for the wood burning stove.

1)Would be nice to have curtains on the windows, esp. bedrooms==thumb tacked towels up, 2) Would be nice to have TV access, esp after a full days activities when really not into playing games,reading, or watching a movie, 3)Instructions for wood burning stove. Nice Val had electric heater, 4) Need non slip strips in shower/tub combo and grab bars. Is dangerous for older people , 5) Door keys were A little sticky, 6) Am glad i carry my own reading light. Otherwise, was a fairly good pick. Need to put in description that no TV. Did say internet so glad I took lap top as some important product info came in. ( Generally take lap top and never use-this time no option if wanted to stay up on the news at least a little.). I realize this cabin is being remodeled, so some of the above mentioned items are probably in the works and just not done yet. Do love the San Juans. People in Lake City were super friendly. Enjoyed talking to the Romanian wait staff at the various restaurants!! Over- all was a relaxing getaway!!! Tally Ho Linda Mattusch/Rich Madole
