The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Location, room, parking and breakfast were excellent. A little surprise was a power bar with 4 usb ports for charging. Fantastic.

Lovely welcome and huge breakfasts! We travelled with our small dog, and he was exceptionally happy with his thoughtful gift of treaties and a squeaky ball! Big paws up from Reggie. Very comfortable and would definitely recommend 👌

Good location (15 min walk from the castle and the old town and a short drive to the battlefield) the owner was very helpful and she gave us great recommendations on where to go next. great breakfast. would highly recommend if you’re in inverness !

We had a 3 bedroom area with a separate entrance that had everything we needed. Janice and Kevin are fantastic hosts and the breakfast is delicious and generous. The guesthouse itself is an easy walk to downtown Inverness.

Excellent host.. Rooms were professionally clean and well organized with a lot of personal touch. Amazing breakfast cooked by the host. She was very prompt with replies and helped me with check in as per my preference. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect.

Room was two-bed on ground flour of main house. Stylishly furnished, with extra touches, such as milk in the fridge for coffee/tea, and chocolates on pillows. Room looks onto gardens. Beds are comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep on both nights. Bathroom is adjacent, with bathrobes provided as well as towels and some toiletries. All are spotless. Breakfast has a great range using fresh and local ingredients, and with great coffee. Owner is happy to chat about local sightseeing options and makes helpful suggestions. A friendly, stylish and hospitable home-from-home welcome.

Furan GuestHouse was a perfect A+ accommodation with free parking and beautiful, CLEAN rooms with wonderful decor. Janice, the owner, was friendly, informative, helpful and proud of her establishment. she offered and made superb hot breakfasts with a cold buffet of yogurt, fresh local berries, juices, granola and honey. She provided a menu list for you to choose your own items! A beautiful table was set each morning with fresh made coffee, jams, Nutella, jellies, butter and honey. Janice offered an excellent and perfect B&B experience. The rooms were immaculate with power showers, duvets, hair dryer, a sewing kit, hot water bottle, carpet, upholstered chair, luggage rack, windows that opened and laundry service! The outside was adorned with the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. The house has an amazing history!

There is nothing to dislike!

The room had everything we needed and was a great respite after a full day of being tourists. Breakfast of champions served every morning with lovely little chats with Janice when she had the time. She was helpful and really gave amazing tips of where to spend our time and what to see and when not to fall in the tourist traps.

Everything about the place was above and beyond. The owner was lively and tremendously helpful in all ways. Great location as it's about a 20 minute walk to town.. We would highly recommend this place if you are going to Invernes. Thanks Janet and Kevin for wonderful stay.

The host was amazing, it was a great pleasure to stay there. The breakfast was fabulous.

Rooms are relatively small and the WiFi in the rooms is very weak, we couldn't connect to it.

Lovely welcome and stay experienced by the two of us and Jet, the Springer Spaniel. Being dog friendly always goes down well with us, but you always wonder how welcome they are. Well here was no problem and the landlady even forgave his barking. In fact this landlady was very friendly and we had great chats over the breakfast that she prepared fresh and in front of us, to our order. She also provided some very helpful tourist information that we were able to borrow for the days out whilst we were exploring Inverness and the Scottish Highlands.

We could not or want to find any fault with this property. After two weeks of touring Scotland and the North East of England, we agreed this was by far our best stay location and would stay there again. It wasn't a problem for us be but aware that one room is not ensuite but the bathroom (for your sole use) is just opposite the room - it is clear when booking, so don't moan when you get there.

Stayed here 5 years ago and it was excellent then. Janice and her husband are very welcoming and make you feel very at home. The breakfast is a proper full Scottish which I defy anyone to be left wanting. The bed was unbelievably comfortable and nothing was anything other than top quality. I would happily live here and it will be my first enquiry for availability on my next stay in Inverness. I left my phone charger in my room and Janice immediately sent it on to my home address. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival.. in a lovely well presented house. In the morning Janice made a great breakfast for us ready for us to set out on the next leg of our road trip. To which she offered loads of helpful advice on where to go and the best way to get there! Thanks again👍

We could not fault our trip at Furan. Janice was an excellent host and had some great tips for things to do in the surrounding areas. The bed was the comfiest we had on our NC500 trip and the little details including a toy and treats for our dog were the icing on the cake.

We wish we’d stayed longer!

Breakfast was amazing expecially when Janice had to get up early on the Sunday to have breakfast ready for me before I set out to tackle the Loch Ness Marathon. Room was very clean and cosy.
