The facilities and the wine tasting

Location perfect , close to a very nice pizza restaurant and bar where we had a good breakfast. Nice room in the tower but only reached through stairs .
Two big dogs were guarding and one did not let us in to the reception, no place for people afraid of dogs. The place is undergoing refurbishment so some work going on.

The breakfast used to be top notch and served at the restaurant, but was now moved and decimated in quality. cold espresso and cappuccino. very disappointing.

Breakfast was not worth the $12 per person charge, packaged pastries, store bought cookies, no eggs, just cold cuts and cheese, yogurt, coffee.

Excellent location. We wished we had more time to explore. World-class pizzeria within a short walking distance. Wine-tasting, walking, cycling, Garda Lake and Gardaland all nearby. Host kind and attentive.

Very unique experience. Located in a family owned winery. The rooms are in the remaining tower and the view from the windows are stunning! There are chairs to sit on the upper terrace at the top of the tower with amazing views. It is away from the city but attractions are 30-60 minutes drive. Lake Garda is not far. The staff are very friendly.
The bed is firm but that is always a subjective preference.

Breakfast was nice, though too much bread.
We were sorry we were there on a Monday when the fabulous restaurant located there, Enoteca del Valpolicella was closed.

Amazing location, superb restaurant on site, very comfy bed.
The big Rottweiler dog is a little scary ;) Especially as it does not seem to like small dogs (like ours)

What a lovely place to stay, good location in a fantastic town, one of my fav in Italy. The young lady at check in was fantastic and so helpful a credit to the place. Looking forward to return soon.
