The included breakfast was very helpful for us so we didn't need to go into town for breakfast. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice and well kept. The outdoor landscape was so beautiful!

The internet did not work one morning (due to a storm the night before) and it kept cutting in an out throughout our stay.

The place is so pretty, you have a view of the volcano and the garden is full of nice plants, flowers and trees. We saw so many birds, it was so nice. The breakfast was great, they give you 3 options. The room was clean and very comfortable, they had hot water (not always common in Costa Rica).

The location, it is a bit far from downtown (25min walk in a car road so not the most convenient but feasible) if you have a car this would be perfect. We only stayed 3 nights, used shuttle and didn't go out at night so it wasn't a big issue but it is something to consider if you're traveling with buses/ shuttles.

This place is just fabulous, and we are eager to return. The low rise buildings are set in beautiful lush green gardens, with lots of flowers and birds to enjoy as you lounge by the lovely pool. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is good, and the staff were very pleasant. Just off the road to the waterfall, the lodge is quite easy to find and has plenty of parking and easy access to the multitude of tours etc in the Arenal area. A bonus was the family of howler monkeys we watched from the road just outside the property, having heard them while breakfasting. We can't wait to come back here.

We enjoyed the variety of birds and the beautiful gardens. We especially liked watching the birds at the feeders. The staff was very friendly.

The pancakes were not great. Also we would have liked more feeders in different locations

Great place to stay. We loved the view from the restaurant. Breakfast was good with multiple options. We saw monkeys and toucans in the forest next to the lodge.

It was my 3rd stay at Cataratas Ecolodge. The service, cleanliless and breakfast quality and quantity were as excellent as during my previous stays. The garden and pool.area are very beautiful and attract a large variety of birds. Rooms are spacious and each comes w a hammock. I highly recommend staying at Cataratas Ecolodge!

Bathroom lighting is too dim to apply makeup. Some lounge chairs in the pool area were broken.
