The view is beautiful, close to the temples. They provide snacks and some drinks in the room as complimentary. We had a great time there during our stay. Staff was very friendly

- don’t understand why pigeon nests planted right on top of rooms, so you wake naturally 5am from birds chirping right above your head pretty much, zero change for lie-in, not ideal for vacation
- bit dated
- bathtub moldy - not healthy!! esp since only glass partition from bathroom to bed
- food served cold at Bfast
- dinner service takes a long time
- rooms quite small for what you would expect for that price range

Villa's location provides beautiful panoramic view and excellent food quality and choicea in Abhyagiri restaurant.
Living room size is not as large as expected for 3br villa. No private pool inside the villa's walls.

Food hygiene. We had breakfast and had cereal with a hair on the bowl. It is disgusting.

You see Mount Merapi and Prambanan Temple from some parts of the resort.
In my opinion, the hotel is overrated and overpriced. They emphasize their service more in the restaurant. The hotel itself probably targets guests attending an event in the location considering it only has 20 rooms.
The room design is a bit odd and is divided 50:50 between bedroom and bathroom. The balcony is facing other rooms instead of the mountain. It also doesn't have lift so I don't think it is suitable for the elderly.
I called the receptionist at 6 am and it was answered by a security guard. I asked him if i could get my son's meal heated but he said it would take some time because the restaurant is not ready yet.
Breakfast menu is limited and it tastes very standard.
On the first night I was tempted to eat at the abhayagiri restaurant but many tables were already reserved. I then decided to go to a nearby hotel which was much better in terms of view, menu, price and food.
On the second night, there was an event at the restaurant with loud music that I heard from my room. It was very annoying.
Limited activities for kids. There is a kid's pool but it is located in front of the restaurant.

Room only have bathtub - not shower room , hence for elders it is not inconvinience
