I don't know about the double rooms, but the single room has good value for money. Not everything is perfect in this hotel, but for this price, what you get is actually very good. I don't think you will find a much better hotel for this price in this region.

Noise insulation between rooms is poor, and the wood floor is squeaky.

We did not want to leave! Great place.. The room was comfy with a balcony and a spectacular view. Free parking. Great facilities (Bar, pool and outside deck). The staff was very friendly and warm - we loved the lady at check-in! The location was comfortable - 6 minutes from Interlaken by car. Breakfast had multiple options. We received a 15% discount voucher for different attraction nearby at check-in.

Ther room had no fridge. The room had no fan - we had a warm night.

Nothing very bad

The place is dirty , bad smell, rude staff , nothing like the photos in booking . We were waiting for check in 15 min. No body in reception while the lady for the reception was in the bar watching us searching for help she didn’t even ask if we need any thing .. we leave the place and loose my 2 nights money.

The hospitality was amazing. We had free breakfast included but on our last day we had to leave the hotel an hour before breakfast started. The staff were courteous enough to prepare “lunchboxes” for us. It is rare to see this level of hospitality and care. The view was good. The decor on the first floor, the pool and plants were good.

1) There was a very steep incline on the walk up to the hotel. There is about 8 minutes of walking between the nearest bus stop and the hotel which is not easy considering the incline. 2) the room was not soundproof 3) there was no A/C 4) the elevator seemed very old

This may have been a three star when it opened in 1983, but it has since become rough around the edges. One sink didn't drain, the mattress sagged to a cocoon during the course of the night, one of the toilet buttons didn't work, lots of bangs on furniture and deep scratches on walls. And a sad sad breakfast. And we were in a "better" room with a top of Europe view and two "balconies".

Compared to the other hotels in the area, we found this location to be the best as it is located away from all the tourists in Interlakken. We came by car so it was perfect for us. We also walked to the center of Interlakken from the hotel. 40 min walk. We also got a card for free acces to public transport, but we didn't try that. It has a nice view and beautyfull suroundings and a lot of diffent aktivities with short distance either by car og public transport.

Our room where at the first floor, and some of the nights we where disturbed during night because of the noise from the ones living on second floor. Not sure if the hotel can be blamed for that. Seemed more like a familiy that didn't respect the quite hours set by the Hotel.

Fantasic room with a very comfy bed. The balcony has a gorgeous view of the Jungfrau, and there is a murder of crows that made their hone in a tree outside and their shenanigans in the evening were very entertaining.

good first breakfast, with good possibility for both sweet and salty options. Coffee (and hot beverage containing coffee) was provided by an automatic machine, but the taste was good
