A first-rate breakfast with plenty of choice and very well cooked. The fruit bowl and yoghurt were also well received. This is one of the best guest houses we have had the pleasure to stay in, and we will certainly stay again when we are next in Shanklin for a short stay. The owners are very friendly and know the island well, and they want to do their best to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

Rosemary and David were very welcoming and helpful. there was a good choice for breakfast, the room was comfortable and really clean. The Lodge is in a good location.

We really enjoyed our stay at Westbury Lodge, Rosemary is very warm and welcoming and goes that extra mile with little touches like dog treats left at the door for our dog, fresh bottles of water and biscuits every day & everywhere is very clean and comfortable. David makes THE best scrambled eggs, everything he cooked for our varied breakfasts was delicious and hot. We shall recommend Westbury Lodge as the perfect place to stay on the Isle of Wight. Thank you.

Lovely place, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast. Rosemary and David were superb hosts. Quiet location within easy reach of town and beach. Would definitely stay again, and we would highly recommend Westbury Lodge for those who appreciate the care taken by the hosts to ensure everything was just perfect.

Rosemary and David were so welcoming and excellent hosts, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing and my dietary needs were fully accounted for. In fact, Rosemary went out of her way to buy special yoghurt. Accommodation was so clean and tidy with exceptional facilities, Thank you Rosemary and David, I will recommend you and will visit again.

Everything was catered for and there wasn't anything that I dislike.

Rosemary & David Bannister's hospitality was amazing. We were very well looked after and the cooked breakfasts were incredible. There were lots of extra special touches like lending us beach towels, which make this a lovely place to stay.

Did hear walking around coming from the room directly above us and some noise generally around us in the early mornings.

We moved here after staying one night at another location and having a terrible experience. The hosts were so amazing, couldn't do enough for you, very friendly. The lodge itself was clean and comfortable, the rooms were spotless, and our bed was so comfy. The facilities were above standard, having a coffee pod machine in our deluxe room. The bathroom was huge and modern, and everything you needed was provided. The breakfast was outstanding, you could basically have anything you like, cooked fresh to order. I had Omelette the first day and a small full English the second. I don't think you could fault this place. There's even a communal room with tea/coffee, TV, games etc, leading to conservatory and garden. Parking was limited, BUT, theres plenty of on street free parking available. Highly recommend! Thank you.

A great dog-friendly b&b, lovely clean room with everything we could want. We chose Westbury lodge because of its location to Shanklin beach (open for dog walkers until 1st May) and location for Shanklin old town. Is perfectly located with a lovely breakfast. Service was great and Rosemary was the perfect helpful, friendly host to welcome us. As a dog owner, I always treat a room with respect as I would at home. Thank you for having us.

Nothing really apart from our room was a little small. There are some beautiful large rooms available.

The location was perfect , a stones throw from the coastal walk to the beach , and the Westbury was glorious . Welcoming, comfortable and - without doubt- the best breakfast EVER !! AND even more perfect , our pup Ellie was welcomed with open arms !!

Parking was tricky as the Westbury had a couple of allocated spaces , but they obviously filled up quite quickly - not the Westbury’s fault !

Breakfast was amazing Location of the property is pretty awesome as well.
