This is a very special place, run by the sweetest family who cares so much about every aspect the property and your stay. The property and facilities were beautiful, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and breakfast every morning was exceptional! Maria Luisa is a treasure and makes you feel so at home!! She also no shortage of recommendations for the area :)

wonderful property 1.5 km outside of town. Trulli are modern and comfortable inside with great beds and modern walk in shower. Hosts were super friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and other activities. Central location to visit surrounding towns such as Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Ostuni, etc.

was too cold to use the pool

We loved loved loved our stay at Trullo Santangelo. The hosts were very welcoming and sweet. If we had any questions, they were answered immediately via whatsapp. We loved using the outdoor kitchen to cook something for our toddler. In general, the outdoor area was our favorite part. The pool, the little playground, the beautiful buildings and gardens. Although all rooms were booked out all the time, it all still felt really private. The room we stayed in was very spacious and well equipped. And lets not forget Hugo and Kite, the loveliest dogs we've ever met. Ceglie is a very short drive away and it must have been the most beautiful old town we've been to in Puglia. We cannot wait to come back!

We had the most amazing time at Trullo Santangelo. Maria Luisa and the rest of the team were so friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay. The property is so beautiful, a real gem in the Puglian countryside and the dinner in the evening was out of this world, we cannot recommend this place highly enough and we are already planning our next trip!

That we only stayed for one night!

We had a fantastic stay here, the lunch was amazing and breakfast, the food just kept coming! The kids loved the dogs, the playground and the pool and we had such a relaxing time, everyone was so friendly and we felt at home even though we only stayed one night. We hope to return one day for longer! Everything was fantastic.

What did we like? ...EVERYTHING. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Maria Luisa and Daniele were such lovely hosts, very prompt at replying to any of our queries, and welcomed us with the warmest reception. Staying at their Trullo on only day 2 of our holiday, we already knew that this was the highlight of our trip. Exceptionally beautiful surroundings and five-star service. They also have the most beautiful precious dogs who we absolutely fell in love with. We are still thinking of Hugo and Kite. We will be coming back.

Everything! Every minute there was perfect. From the second we walked in and were greeted to the second our heads hit the pillow it was such an incredible experience! Especially loved the breakfast, the pool, the dogs, and of course the lovely hosts!

Loved everything

I loved everything about our stay there. The best is the wonderful courtyard under the mulberry tree and the beautiful, delicious breakfasts underneath. But there is also a lovely swimming pool overlooking a olive tree grove, four very friendly dogs, great coffee, cosy Trullo rooms and - the best of all - Maria Louisa with the best tips to make your stay special and always willing to help and support. Everything has a real family feel to it and the stay here was just super-relaxing. We will be back!

What’s not to love about this place? ♥️ Amazing picturesque trulli, lovely owners who will welcome you with a big smile and are kind and helpful, cuddly four legged friends. We had a very spacious and comfortable lamia, it was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast under the Mulberry tree was definitely a daily highlight, fresh and tasty local products served with a smile. If you want to experience true Italian hospitality look no further. We are already thinking about returning next year to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Due to no fault of the owners but still something to be aware of: during the weekend evenings there was a lot of noise (music/karaoke) coming from one of the nearby properties. Inside our lamia it wasn’t too bad, and we sleep with earplugs anyway so it was not an issue for us.

Well, the dinner was in a cute garden hosted by the owner. BUT it was very ower priced, I should ask the pricing before the order ...

We loved our stay at Trullo Sant'Angelo. We were very lucky to sleep in one of the beautiful Trullos which was so beautifully renovated and decorated. The staff and hosts were so lovely, there was always someone friendly to speak with and we felt like we were being welcomed as friends. We also met some lovely other Kiwis and we really enjoyed the communal areas and being able to sit outside together and have a drink. The breakfast was also beautiful. So many delicious fresh things to try. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night!! Thank you Trullo Sant'Angelo :)

Nothing we loved everything

Both Daniele and Maria Luisa are super lovely and welcoming, we had an amazing time there. The place is amazing, the breakfast is delicious. Everything was perfect. I definitely recommend Trullo Sant’Angelo.

Everything, location, trulli rooms, warm hospitality, delicious fresh locally sourced breakfast. Very very clean rooms. Free spacious car parking. Excellent wifi. Very beautiful swimming pool and farm. Relaxing and tranquil. Very COVID-19 secure and hygienic. They welcomed us with amazing local produced wine, they actually produce red wine themselves, and it tastes super. They provided excellent food recommendations in the town Ceglie Messapica, worthy exploring. Ask for local ares artisans and recommendations, they will give you excellent choices to discover and explore. This trulli wouldn't be complete without the beautiful 3 cuddly doggies.. So warm like their owners. Honestly, they became our friends and felt staying with our family rather just an accommodation. This is our second stay in 1 year and we are already planning for next year visit :) Best accommodation and experience ever. Thank you Maria Luisa and Danielle
