Really clean, quiet, great location, lovely old building. Staff really helpful. Lovely place to stay..lovely neighbourhood too.

The hotel is very close to the S-Bahn Schöneberg. There are supermarkets, cafes and Late Night shops close by, so you’ll find everything you need.
The checkout was flexible: the owner asked us when we plan to leave. The owner was very polite throughout the stay.
The room cleaning was not very thorough. There was old candle wax behind the night stand and rust already forming at the bathroom mirror.
I would have wished for fresh towels. It seemed that the towels were just folded and put back (which is rather unfortunate sharing the room with two others: how do we know which towel belongs to whom).

The location was convenient to public transportation. There was nothing wrong with the accommodation but it was overpriced for the basics provided
The internet was spotty and so slow that it timed out continually. There was no breakfast. No kettle in the room (although they provided one when asked). The staff live upstairs and are not available to talk with or ask questions. There was no place to sit and relax. A hostel would have been more comfortable. Everything was ok but for the price I expected more.

Recommendable! For this price, excellent. Very quiet room regarding noise from outside or inside. Good breakfast selection with good coffee and relaxed private athmosphere. Directly at the S-Bahn Schöneberg. Large room and large bathroom; both simple. Friendly staff/owner.
Of course, it is not a business hotel with safe or gadgets or breakfast buffet or continental breakfast but a more private house.
