The breakfast was just amazing! The price is more that fair, specially considering that include the entrance to hot springs!

I loved the tasty breakfast, and most of all the Volcano Lodge Hotel thermals waters day pass, it's a super plus! The employees were friendly too.

In the room, the lighting was poor. no designated place to put the luggage, so we used the small third bed as a stand. The room was clean which was good, but dated. Just needs a few modern updates, such as good lighting and outlets for electronics, etc...

Breakfast was ok. It is around 6 minutes walk from the autobus terminal. It’s Very convenient to walk around and feel secured.

The free hot springs service provided by the hotel , Volcano Lodge & Springs Hotel & Thermal Experience is located 7 km away from downtown La fortuna . there is no hotel shuttle service provided. We went there by Uber. we called the Uber at around 3 pm and waited for 40 minutes to return to the town center. If you go there late, you might need spend more to call the taxi instead of Uber. The hot springs temperature is just warm. I saw their hotel minibus running between two hotels but they did not provide to their guests. If they could provide the shuttle service (even they charge their guests) which will be more convenient for their guests.

We loved the location. Just a short walk from everything in the town center. The staff was so friendly and helpful and could speak to us in English or Spanish so it was nice to not have to worry about misunderstanding. The breakfast was excellent. We loved getting to have typical Costa Rican food every morning.

Good location and an excellent breakfast buffet. Staff were very helpful as well. There's also always coffee/tea, and an ice machine. You can enjoy the thermal facilities at their sister hotel, which is a short Uber ride away, and is something you should definitely do.

The wifi wasn't very strong inside my room - had to go on the veranda to get a proper connection.

What a great choice! The place just in the city center, super nice personnel, great choice of breakfast, clean swimming pool, safe parking inside the resort and free access to hot springs. We would definitely come back!

Perfect location, with good parking lot. Free entrance to hot springs is a really good bonus, and the pool inside the hotel is very nice too. They can borrow towels.

There is no much to complain - maybe breakfast should have better quality of drinks.

Very clean room. Great breakfast. Central location. Very nice staff (when leaving early, they packed breakfast for takeaway). Hairdryer can be asked from reception.

Great Location! Away from the hustle bustle. Calm & peaceful property. Sister property, Volcano Lodge added lots of value. Loved it so much, we added an extra day to our stay.

Limited gluten free selection for breakfast. However, they accommodated by making fresh smoothies with the fruit I purchased at the corner market.

The hotel itself was nice and clean with a good breakfast. I would recommend it any time. But the biggest pro is the free entrance to the hot springs in another hotel. We had an amazing time there, it was almost empty and the water was lovely.

central location! great pool & safe in the rooms. staff were we’re friends and helpful and looked after our luggage on the last day as we weren’t leaving till late!

Everything was perfect.

The staff were fantastic with helping to organise onward travel. The bedrooms were lovely and the buffet breakfast was fantastic.
