Wir hatten dieses Hotel hauptsächlich wegen der Nähe zum Manuel Antonio Nationalpark gebucht. Man ist in zwei Minuten zu Fuß am Parkeingang, was ein großes Plus ist.
Die Anlage an sich ist schön angelegt, allerdings fehlte fast überall Pflege und Aufmerksamkeit. Insgesamt müsste das Hotel dringend saniert werden. Türen und Fenster schlossen nicht richtig, die Armaturen im Bad fielen aus den Wänden, die Lampen im Zimmer waren mit Rost überzogen und nachts dröhnten die veralteten Klimaanlagen.
Hinzu kam, dass es mit der Sauberkeit nicht so ernst genommen wurde. Handtücher hatten Flecken, das Geschirr beim Frühstück war sn beiden Tagen nicht richtig sauber.
Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

staff are really wonderful, breakfast was great, eggs made to order. wonderful coffee and juice. The pool and landscaping is lovely and its an easy walk to the beach and national park. smoothies and cocktails were great there at the bar by the pool. Monkeys iguanas and red eye frog on property.
The wifi was slow when the hotel was full but very fast on mid week days.

location was awesome! steps from Manuel Antonio and main public beach. while it lacked the ocean views of some of the most popular hotels at higher elevations this location suited our family much better.
everything was great. wish pizzas by the pool were a little less expensive but outside of me being cheap it was great.

This hotel is just steps from the Manuel Antonio Park and the beach! The pizza is delicious and the two restaurants they recommended were both good!
There was a camera that looked like it was pointing at our outdoor shower so we didn’t use it. I would recommend they fix that. other than that, everything was great!

As a property manager and as a person as dealing with hospitality I was very happy with the service, the stuff, the location.
The hotel located right on the Center but also in a quite place, right 200m from the nacional park , beach and restaurants. We didn’t use the car at all.
The room was very nice and clean. Very nice pizza in the restaurant. The team are very kind and I will definitely come back and recommend to all of my clients and friends.

A beautiful little boutique hotel in gorgeous gardens and lovely quiet pool area. All rooms are clean, cool and comfortable and suites offer private balconies and outdoor kitchen areas.
Staff are super friendly and will arrange all activities and excursions.
National park 5 minutes walk and beach 5 minutes.

Very clean. Great location - 6 minute walk to Manuel Antonio national park, 4 minute walk to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby. Trust me you don't want to drive around Manuel Antonio! The monkeys come to the hotel in the evening, so you don't even have to go to the park :) They make their own oven baked pizza. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great, and they can make you an omelette that you want or pancakes or there are lots of other options to choose from.

La Vela Boutique is a great and benefits from a wonderful setting. We enjoyed plenty of time by the pool, but even better was its location. Just a short stroll to the main beach and also the entrance to Manuel Antonio Park. We also enjoyed walking out of an evening to a nearby restaurant for our evening meal.

Very good location, comfortable and clean room, how the hotel was decorated and the fact it was very green. the swimming pool is very nice and you can observe monkeys every day passing by and jumping on the roofs and trees in the hotel. There is also a happy hour from 16 until 18 and cocktails are served at the swimming pool.
Overall we really liked it. It was a bit crowded over the weekend so we didn’t find a place at the pool but other days it was no problem.

Breakfast is provided and includes a wide variety of choices including fresh pineapple, watermelon and papaya. Service is personalized, the food delicious. the hotel is half way between the national park and downtown area, both walking distance but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The beach is adjacent to the downtown.
Our room balcony faced the street which allowed us to view people walking by at a distance. Unfortunately, some of the beach vendors vehicles would also use this avenue to transport their goods and equipment in the morning and evening and several had broken mufflers which would create quite a racket in their comings and goings. Wifi was spotty on the balcony, better in the room.

The location is 200m from Manuel Antonia National Park, which you can walk in circa 5 minutes, so an ideal location. The hotel has parking and all the staff are most welcoming, the reception team are excellent with local knowledge of restaurants etc. It’s a 400m walk to the public beach and the restaurants, if you don’t want to drive, there is also an excellent restaurant next door as well. Breakfast was good and the hotel has a pool and lounge area, with pool bar.

We had a wonderful stay at La Vela, we mentioned that we are in our honeymoon and we got upgraded to a suite room and a bottle of wine. The room was amazing and the breakfast was very nice. Very good location close to the beach and to the national park. The staff were very kind.
