The place is clean. I slept in a very clean room. The owner treated me nicely, I had a conversation with her and I realised that she cares a lot when coming to customers.

My return visit to Kathu and again the Guesthouse just out performed any of the other places I stayed previously in Kathu. Warm greeting, easy check-in large room, warm and tasteful breakfast in the rainy weather was a bonus and a lift me up to start the day! Thank You Hermine, you really are now my home away from home when visiting Kathu!

Acacia Guesthouse exceeded my expectations, from arrival sms with all information needed to the friendly welcome of the host. Dinner recommendations was quickly provided to have a meal at one of the restaurants in town as it was loadshedding early evening. Clean linen with my own amenities provided to suite my needs perfectly. Coffee and tea with eats and treats made going to bed extra sweet and having a good evenings rest in a quiet residential area of town. Will definitely recommend a evenings stay.
