Pillows seemed to be made of bricks, Lights flicker every few minutes in the room. 5 star hotel with power interruptions. Staff were very arrogant and at first they couldn’t find my reservation. They gave me a family room when i called and made arrangements for a king bed room. Bedding had stains, breakfast was meh and the lady there was very unhelpful and rather rude. Door man is also a prick, he allows a Ferrari to park infront of the door but wouldnt allow me to park me BMW infront while i was checking in :) Definitely would not recommend, horrible experience and a horrible way to begin my marriage

The bathroom was unbelievable filthy with stains on the floor, had to be moved 3 times in the first day and house keeping mentioned that those stains are only removed by the machine which they did not have to remove the same. I don't know how the room was ready without the bathroom floor being cleaned. I had to go to reception to activate room key at least 3 times with 10 munites, lift had sticking tendencies

Very expensive but well worth it. Venue close to my destination.

The location within the Melrose Arch precinct is the best in Gauteng. The back up generator is appreciated when the country’s power supplier fails to deliver electricity. The rooms were very spacious and clean

I would recommend the towels be replaced as the ones in my room were threadbare. Everything else was excellent, thank you

Excellent hotel good location and friendly supportive staff. The Hotel has a very austere atmosphere.

The room dinning menu is very poor with extremely limited choice. The quality of the food is mediocre.

rooms available late, I didn’t have amenities nor refreshments into minibar, I didn’t have water in my room (a part from 0,5l) and i had to call room service (long one), there was no proper room dining service as both plates ordered from the list were not available, i have asked late checkout but room key got disconnected

We stayed at this property twice during our trip. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very safe and we appreciated being able to safe,y walk around the area. There are many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The room was very comfortable. We will stay here again on our next visit to Johannesburg

The breakfast buffet was amazing. Although my family don't eat bacon, there was a table for pork. Variety of fruit (tastier and more natural than the once we got used to in Los Angels :) The coffee is amazing, the macchiato was great. Great, Great, Great. Employees were amazing - Sisipjo, Aggle, Promise, Cynthia Khanyi, Godfred, Mehluli, Busisiwo & David.

All was great in my opinion! Best location when compared with other location we saw.

beautiful hotel, super nice staff and great location

The hotel is modern and vibrant and the facilities are excellent. The staff were very obliging and were on hand to assist with every need.

Unfortunately the power outages caused havoc with he air-conditioning system in our room leaving a lingering odour and making the room uncomfortable. This caused us to have to be moved which was a nuisance.
