A long work or taxi to town

We loved staying here, even though it was only for 1 night. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The self service bar was fantastic and made it very simple to help yourself to drinks and pay at the end of your stay. It was in a lovely quiet area and it was never busy by the pool which was lovely! It has a great atmosphere and I would definitely recommend staying here!

Dionissi and his staff really make you feel like a family member - they are so accommodating and couldn't be friendlier! The outdoor space is very green and beautifully manicured with fruit trees and flowers. The pool area is lovely - breakfast is served there (you can add on breakfast when you get there if you aren't sure) and the bar is open all day. There are also places to sit around the property and watch the sunset, rocking chairs, picnic area, etc. There is a small, rocky beach within walking distance not much else around there (the big sandy beach is a few km away) - you really need a car. They even have a car rental agency onsite in case you want one. Everything is clean, the AC works well, our terrace had a table and chairs where we could sit and watch the sunset, bed was comfortable, the environment was quiet - delightful!

The building itself is reminiscent of Florida motels along A1A from the 1980s. It's not that I didn't like it, I just wanted to mention it. The rooms are no frills, no bells and whistles - everything is basic and functional. Wifi works but is not strong. If you need a strong connection for remote working, this could be a problem. The manager said that this problem is an Argostoli-wide problem, not limited to this property. Something to do with the network. I would check this out further if you need to work or can't live without streaming services.

We had a wonderful stay at Panorama Fanari, couldn’t fault the service of Dionissi and everyone at the villas at all! Always happy to help with any questions we had and provide recommendations on where to eat and visit. It was an easy walk down to Argostoli centre which was about 20 min walk down hill and the views over the bay from our room were gorgeous morning and night. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day and snacks and drinks were always available at the small bar next to the pool. 10/10 would recommend.

The villa is at the top of a hill - easy to walk down but can be a little tricky / tiring to walk up at night as is dark, it is best to get a short taxi back, we used Ionian Taxis whose number was provided in the room info and were easy to book with. Cost around €8 euro to get back from Argostoli centre. Not an issue at all just something to be aware of :)

Our kettle had a mind of its own, switching on and off all the time! Also a very territorial cat who had obviously been fed by the previous occupants…..grr!

Great location for those who love open sea view, silence, fresh air, walking and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful service. Nice breakfast. Wonderful island. Preferable to have a car. I'l recommend this place to my friends.

The room was a bit small and property is outside of the city. We had to take a car to go to the downtown as walking on the road at night with no light or sidewalks seemed dangerous.

Very hospitable hosts who went the extra mile to ensure everyone had a good time including organising a superb evening BBQ with entertainment. Useful to have a car but can walk to the capital city if not. One of the few places I would stay again.

The view from our balcony was excellent. The room was well equipped and clean. The pool was great. The breakfast was good. The best thing was the welcome when we arrived from the lovely host, who was very hospitable and friendly.

The apartment was clean great shower,exceptional view from balcony and good feel as Dionissi and his staff are great hosts very welcoming but never intrusive Breakfast was very good all homemade and cakes and pastries homebaked by lovely breakfast lady. Also great pool

There was nothing to dislike

I travelled by carferry from Kyllini and found this location great as a base from where to explore the island of Kefalonia. There are some great sandy beaches within 15 minutes drive and some pebble beaches closer. All very pretty. The views across the bay from my apartment were beautiful. The apartment was really comfortable and it's quiet. The staff are really helpful and made me feel at home. There is a lovely swimming pool with poolside bar where breakfast is served. It was perfect and I hope to return

There was nothing that I did not like about this place. In fact I booked initially for 5 nights and stayed for another 7!

The hosts are really kind. The apartments have beautiful views and are kept very clean. The location is good for exploring Kefalonia. The costa beach is really nice and nearby. You can join activities like a bbq at the accomodation if you like.

Would have liked a bit more kitchen stuff. Like 2 a two plate cooker.

A real home from home experience and perfectly peaceful setting with an amazing swimming pool/bar area. Clean rooms with big beds and lovely showers plus incredible views from every room over the sea! Walkable to Argostoli town or you can get a taxi for a couple of euros.

Maybe a little more kitchen space if you’re planning on cooking lots of meals but it was perfectly adequate.

In a word, everything. Dionissi and his wife and amazing people that worked there can not do enough for you..such lovely people. A lovely apartment with everything you need, very clean, ( our cleaner was lovely and friendly) set on a hillside with stunning views and gardens , a lovely pool/bar area. You can watch incredible sunsets. We didn't go out every night as it was lovely to just do that with a glass or two of wine. Yes it's a bit of a walk to/from argostoli up/down a hill (15 mins)but we really enjoyed it. If you have mobility issues, the taxis are approx 6 euros. We met such fabulous friendly people whilst staying there from all countries inc Sonya and Scott who have been going back for 13 years..says it all! Everyone we met there has said they are rebooking for next year. We would love to see them all again. We have already booked! We can't wait ..there is a weekly barbi with great food and flowing alcohol, brilliant live music and you meet lots of people staying there..we had a fabulous night , severely hung over the next day!! Then there is the honesty bar! Get what you want when you want, write it on a list in your room and pay with your bill..prices are really reasonable especially the wine! 😊 argostoli is lovely, a mix of old and new. Dionissi will arrange car hire to explore the island, you should do this .gorgeous places to see..kefalonia is beautiful, you just fall in love with it, ..I've gone on a bit but can't reiterate how lovely it is and everyone is at panorama fanari , you won't regret booking .. see you next year all, Jo and sue 😘

For two friends going on a long awaited holiday there wasnt anything we didn't like .the most beautiful amazing place to stay..

Dionissi has been more than friendly and greaty supported us regarding the issues we'd in Kefalonia The rooms are really nice and comfortable, the swimming pool and the breakfast are a must! Finally the location is amazing

Amazing location and view of Argostoli bay from the balcony. In walking distance to the lighthouse (10mins) and city center (around 25mins). Very nice pool and chill out area, good breakfast and very nice and helpful staff! Thank you for the nice stay..although only for two days :-)

The staff were great, food was nice, the view excellent and everything was clean and well kept

The place was great no real complaints. Just worth noting that you do really need a car while you're there so you can get around.

Superb view from the rooms, a bunch of beaches and other attractions reachable by foot (10-15 minutes), good breakfast, the staff is welcoming and helpful at every step, one day we also used the pool which is clean and has everything it needs.

Room facilities and toiletries can be improved, there are very few taverns and restaurants reachable by foot - the main city is 30 minutes away.

After staying for 5 days in Sami to explore the north of the island we decided to stay at Panorama Fanari Studios and Apartments both for exploring the rest of the island and to get away from the buzz and relax. Boy this place did not disappoint. We were greeted by breathtaking views, warm people and one of the most charming rooms we've stayed in at the seaside. The garden, the pool, the honesty bar policy (I'll let you discover what this is), the BBQ day with live music, everything was just perfect. Dionisis, the owner of this place is really present and involved in all day-to-day activities. He's a "mi casa es su casa" type of guy. Trust me on this one, this is the perfect place to throw away you phone and disconnect. 100% I will stay here when I return to Kefalonia and I sure recommend you to book a superior apartment with breakfast here.
