Check in was fine and breakfast was decent. Location good for walking to old town, but the neighborhood is not the most charming.

Bathroom was not very clean. All of the caulking had pink and black mold everywhere. The bathroom vanity was all rusted because the floor floods when you take a shower. Moldy bread served one morning on the breakfast buffet. Hotel just feels dated (not just "historic") and long overdue for an upgrade. The photos make this place seem much nicer than it really is. I spent a little more on the hotel than other comparable properties because it looked nicer. If I return, I will stay elsewhere next time.

Great hotel, close to the Independence Square. Very comfortable bed (reasonably firm), clean, and helpful staff. Great breakfast on the top floor with potential to sit outside on the rooftop terrace. I liked being able to borrow a (fairly basic) bike for a few hours and also I liked the pool and spa area. Wifi was also good with good coverage.

I was satisfied with most things during my stay.

Unprofessional staff. They do not clean the room when you ask them to. When you try to understand what has happened, the people at reception treat you really bad, to the point of calling you a liar and saying that you did not ask for the room to be clean. Mr. Manuel Garcia Fricaninco was probably the most unpolite and unprofessional hotel staff member that I've had to deal with in my life.

Não tem serviço de quarto, cozinha ou serviço de auto atendimento para compra de alimentação e bebida. 2- banheira escorregadia, sem tapete anti derrapante. 3- janela do banheiro toda mofada, com pessimo aspecto. A água do chuveiro respinga direto na janela e está Não tem limpeza ou manutenção.

Größe des Zimmers war gut, historisches Gebäude, schöner Empfangsbereich. Bad mit Fenster. Gutes und umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, auch mit Hafermilch auf Nachfrage. Freundliches Personal, sprechen Englisch. Safe, Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank vorhanden. Konnten unser Gepäck nach dem auschecken noch im Hotel lassen. Rezeption ist immer besetzt und gibt Tipps und Empfehlungen.

Leider sehr fleckige Bettwäsche und auch fleckige Handtücher. Bad war veraltet und roch schlecht. Kein Mückenschutz vor dem Fenster, sodass das Lüften schwierig war. Kakerlake auf dem Bett!! Öffnungszeiten des Spabereichs nicht wie angegeben, der Ofen in der Sauna ist laut und die Sanduhr kaputt. Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht und hatten keinen Zimmerservice. Die Schlüsselkarten gingen anfangs nicht und dann unzuverlässig.

The staff is the best thing about this hotel. They couldn't be more helpful and kind. The hotel is also very well located and we could go to most places walking. The size of the rooms was also very good.

Breakfast could be better. Too many sweet things and bad-quality orange juice. Some days the staff could not keep up with the number of people having breakfast. There was constant noise from the next room's air conditioning and the shower had no glass window so the whole bathroom would get wet. I wish they had told us the swimming pool was being renovated, I might have chosen a different hotel if I knew.

Staff was kind and always there to help, location was great, everything is just few steps away.

Forks and services were sticky at times with some dirtiness, room was near an air conditioner box, so it was noisy, we had to change room once, as the heating was not working, kettle had to be changed too, as it was not working. Gym machines need to be maintained, some are in very bad shape and can't be used.

WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE HOTEL. THE PHOTOS PUBLISHED ON Booking.com ARE NOT COHERENT WITH THE REALITY OF THE FACILITIES. POORLY MAINTAINED BUILDING. DIRTY BATHROOM, TOWELS, SHEET, PILLOWCASES AND BEDROOM. TOTALLY DIRTY AND BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING. WE SUGGEST THAT Booking.com DOES A BETTER ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENTS BEFORE POSTING THE 'GENIUS' QUALITY. I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF THE SITE FOR A LONG TIME AND TODAY I DON'T FEEL VERY SURE ABOUT THE OFFERS. FOR EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED, WE STAYED AT THE HOTEL FOR JUST ONE NIGHT THERE INSTEAD OF THE FOUR RESERVED. DEFINITELY NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL. COMPLEMENTING: WE ARE STILL WAITING ON THE HOTEL PART, THE REFUND FOR 3 UNUSED DAYS.
