The staff were very helpful. We had a great tuktuk tour arranged by the Khmer family which runs the place. The gardens are very sweet. The room is clean. But really great experience in this nice off the beaten track town. Great value for money

The lady who fronts the guesthouse speaks good English and is very likable. It's a short walk in to town.

It is not that we are fusy but put simply, this place is over priced at 18$/night for the standard of accommodation provided. Before booking, we noticed that this guesthouse got mixed reviews. Some rate it highly and others don't. Having now stop here we understand why. We have spent the last 3 weeks traveling around different parts of Cambodia. We now have a good feel of what to expect for your dollar. Based on what we have experienced so far on our travels, this guesthouse rates as poor value. Here's why we think people have however reviewed it highly.... The lady who fronts the establishment is very nice. She speaks good English and is very likable. The reviewers therefore want to help her with future trade. The reviewers may not have stayed in many other places in Cambodia and believe the poor standards here are the norm in this country. (Based on our personal experiences in Cambodia we are pleased to report that they are not). The poor standards we encountered are as follows - Electrics regularly trip out. Especially whilst you are in the middle of using the electric shower. The air con drips water on to the bed below. (This is more than just the odd drop). The internet generally doesn't work and when it does it is very slow. I asked the nephew about this and he said it must be my smart phone at fault. The fact was that I was experiencing the same problem connecting my tablet computer. The rooms were last decorated many years ago and it shows. Not really an issue to us but may be to other guests.... The nephew has a tuck tuck and he asked us on more than one occasion about taking us to the floating market. A leaflet in the room offering this service would suffice. Nobody likes hard sell at the place where they are staying especially when they just want to chill out and relax. We politely said no thank you but other guests may feel a little pressurised.

Great place to stay while in Kampong! The place is beautiful and nice bungalows. The owner and staff are so helpful. We didn't want to leave!
