Breakfast was delicous! The hotel was very clean and convinienlty located in front of a mini mart. Mario was very kind and helpful!
No wifi upstairs from our room. The heavier set lady at the front desk was not helpful and seemed unhappy. We had asked for a blow drier earlier in the day and Mario told us it to come back later since it was in use at the time. The heavier set lady was was the front desk when we went back and she said there were no blow driers when Mario told us there were earlier. She also refused to give us change when we paid for our stay and made us go get our own change when she clearly had change in her money bag.

ROOM 13 - It was difficult to sleep because of the extremely bright light directly outside the window and the blind was useless. There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, the shower screen is nearly falling off, I am 5’3” tall and could only just sit on the toilet without hitting my knees on the wall, and the room was unclean. After one night I asked to move.
ROOM 21 - the stench from the toilet was awful. Initially the bathroom door was closed and the windows opened but once the door was open, the smell spread. There was no water at all from the hot water tap in the shower and even though I told the staff the day before going on tour all day, but they made no effort to fix it or give me a new room.

nice overall, close to the center, cute outside space
the shower wasn’t draining well, from the too. we could hear people getting in and out the hotel so it was little noisy

very nice staff, well appointed and very clean; hot showers; overall a great hotel and option; very good breakfast;
no big issues but just as FYI, no TV or safe in room. only real complaint was two roosters right next door who crowed all day and night. they felt like they were in my room since just separated by wall. bed didn’t have a box spring so was not comfortable.

The room was good size.
The location was good.
Breakfast was OK.
When you arrive, it turns out that they charge a 6% credit card fee. It says nothing about that in booking.
The bathroom is tiny and uncomfortable.
Booked a triple room with a double bed and a single bed.
Got one with all singles.
They charge for everything - coffee, tea.
They tell you that they give complementary shuttle to the piers, but in the end they charge you $2 per person.
The vibe you get from this place is greediness

Very nice breakfast, friendly staff, good location in town
Not even a hook for hanging up stuff, let alone a or a wardrobe. You literally have to live out of the suitcase. Impossible to get wet things to dry. We were unlucky with the room as well, it had only a small window and felt a bit like a prison. They have much nicer ones.

Room, building, facilities
changes pillows were too hard, we didn´t like the hotel surroundings they were not clean enough, there were not signal about recycling and use of water.

The place looks nice but it appears nobody is overseeing it to make sure it is up to high standards .
Nancy was the only one who help us in every way .
The place was dirty and it smells bad
1. Front desk
2. A rooster making noise at 4:00 am
3. Our room was under the kitchen so every day we were up around 4:00 am because of the rooster and people preparing breakfast in the floor above us .

Best shower in Ecuador. Common outdoor area really nice, lots of plants and shaded areas. Had a jacuzzi (only cold water though lol). Location was great, close to all the things you'd want/need. Staff was friendly.
Wifi didn't reach to rooms, sheets and blankets could have been better quality. Had to pay for coffee. You could hear other guests from time to time (but we were on ground floor, which may have contributed)

Clean room, confortable beds, well located, very nice garden to be outside with a whirpool (but only allowed with cold water;-)) I can really recommend to stay there, the people are also very friendly

We were happy to be upgraded from this property to the partner hotel, La Laguna, so this review applies to it. It was clean and comfortable with large beds and AC worked well for us. It was lovely to have the pool, also!
Alex, our contact, was absolutely lovely and helpful, even arranging our salvoconductos for our entire trip (not just our stay on isabela), and helping arrange tours for us.
Infuriating WiFi and no WiFi extenders to allow WiFi to work in the rooms. Literally had to sit in lobby to get any decent WiFi. I understand satellite WiFi is more slow and we were prepared for that, but a small investment into WiFi extenders would improve this place (and it’s ratings) a lot!

The breakfast was wonderful.
We could not pay with credit card (no good WiFi )

We stayed Hotel San Vicente Galapagos for 3 nights. Hotel offers free port pick up and drop off, just incase you have alot of luggage. Hotel is located 10mins walk from the Port (arriving from Santa Cruz).
We were in room 1. The room was spacious and had good working air-con, hot strong shower pressure. There is a large rectangle window above the bathroom wall where people could see in. Hotel needs to put a curtain up for privacy of their guest. We had to hang our own towel up over the window for the days we were there.
All sounds can be heard from our room. Neighbours in the room above us talking, roosters, staff talking. It was very loud. Don't expect to sleep well, unless you wear ear plugs.
Hotel staff charged us an extra $10 for our wet suit when they booked out Los Tunnels tours. Not sure why, as the wet suit was included. Other tour guest all got wet suits included.
Breakfast was a hit and miss and very basic. Coffee wasn't hot, as coffee should be - more room temp. 1st day the juice was great, 2nd day it was watered down and plain. We left at 530am on day of departure. They do not offer a go pack for breakfast. Very ordinary, considering we had paid for breakfast (most other hotels provide a proper packed breakfast to go, which isn't hard - plain ham sandwich, juice popper and a piece of fruit - Apple or banana)
Throughout Galapagos they say if you want to pay by credit card. There's an additional 22% Tax..this is in addition to the 12% VAT
Location wise, the town is small. Doesn't matter where you stay, can walk everywhere. We would not stay here again or recommend this hotel.
Please note, as at 29th June 2019 there is a $10 USD per person tax to Isabela Island.
