View from the Apartment really nice. But quite a lot of fog during days in March. Very helpful ladies at reception. Local bars within 15 min walking distance. Small shop in the Village.

Quite far from a town when not renting a car.

This hotel exceeded my expectation. The two bedroom apartment looked a little worn out in the pictures from this website. When you enter the room and you see the huge terrace a the view this feeling disappears. The wow factor is quite high. The apartment is spacious, not very modern, but you have everything that you need and everything is working properly. Equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, good beds, friendly staff. If you sit on the sofa in the living room you can see the village below and the ocean. Free parking, Cabo Girao at 2 minutes walking. Great starting point if you want to explore the island. A car is a must.

Ants in the room, but it was ground floor, huge prices in the restaurant. We ate one evening there, but the menu is quite limited in options, the food was ordinary, only the prices were high. Definitely far better options for dining in the area.

It was absolutely amazing. We got an entire House for 6 people and every details was amazing. Apart from this, the facilities and the staff was super!!! I am really looking forward to coming back!

Kitchenettes are poorly equipped, no dishwasher, no washing machine.

Very well appointed apartment in a good location. Excellent on site services, restaurant, snack bar, pools, sauna, tennis, small supermarket, library, free self service washing machines, parking right by your room, sunny outdoor balcony with table and chairs, sun lounges, access to walks and public transport and very helpful and friendly staff

Only one very minor point that the beds could be updated

BIG ROOMS, SPACE APARTMENT

friendly staff, good location, plenty of free parking, large and comfortable rooms with everything (kitchen), comfortable bed. Staff were quick and friendly to solve an issue we had with WIFI.

Everything is great! the rooms and decorations are a bit old (if you care about that).

Great location with a nice view, the staff speaks english very well and are very helpful. And nice facilities like a restaurant, a spa with a poolbar and much more!

The curtains, they were a bit old fashioned.

Location not ideal. Good views although these were obscured from our apartment

we booked room with double bed, but got with twin beds. That was so uncomfortable, for what you pay money. During all stay ( 3 night) nobody changed towels, nobody cleaned room. As well no shower belongings. Staff of property is really kind and polite. And view was good, but nut from our balcony. But in booking app was different ( ocean ) view.

We loved the views and the location, which couldn't be better to have such views. The space in the apartment is really good, as well as when in the balcony (maybe a bigger table could be suggestion for such a nice place to spend time.

Great location and lovely staff. Lovely spot, very quiet where you can cut off from the world.

A little confusion with rooms to begin with but got quickly resolved by the staff member/booking.com

its location and views are spectacular. Also the fact you are able to get shuttle buses to the main town and city is handy. Also taxi and buses can be caught up near the Cabo Girao sky walk. The pool bar does great food as does the restaurant. and shop has enough stock for making your own food in the apartment.

It’s a shame the pool bar closes so early … that would be good to have if you decided a night cap. Though the shop stocks all sorts to put in your apartment

Once we have driven all the island we can say it is the best zone to rest, just 15-20 min away from Funchal and really close to Cabo Girao. The kitchen is full equip so yo can cook if you want although the Village has a restaurant. The views from the apartment are amazing when the sea mist dissapears. The bed was really comfortable.

Just to say something, the tap of the hand basin in bathroom didn´t work properly, just it had a trickle of water coming out.

Good location for visiting the rest of the island. Beautiful views of the swimming pool and the ocean. A lot of activities and facilities at the complex. Parking at the door...

A leak over our balcony, the constant sound of the drops was annoying at sleeping time.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious, well equipped, large balcony and extremely clean. The apartment was serviced every 2 days, which was a bonus. Each block of apartments has washing machines and dryers which are free to use. There is also plenty of car parking for each apartment block The grounds and facilities are extensive and very well maintained. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Nicole who went out of her way to help. We stayed for one week and then moved to alternative accommodation, but in hindsight I wish we had stayed for 2 weeks.

The restaurant has a set menu which is quite expensive, so we only used it once. However, the pool bar serves food so there are other options. A number of local restaurants run a shuttle service.
