Perfect Location, right on the beach and within walking distance of everything you need in Agonda.

Breakfast menu does not cater for pure veg/vegan (fruit, juice, coffee only).

The room was tidy and clean, lots of space to feel comfortable and a beautiful beach view to wake up to. Location is perfect for a swim, walking and exploring the area. The staff are friendly and lovely. We’ll be back for a longer stay.

Everything is beautiful. starting from the location where it is situated to the staff everything is perfect. especially the owner Shekhar bhai is a wonderful host . he made sure that our stay was comfortable and pleasant. must visit.

The room rate was £92 which was the second highest I came across when searching accommodation for Agonda and extortionate for Goa but I decided to stay there because two friends were going to be there at the same time and one highly recommended it as she had stayed there many times. I was shocked when I got to the Madhu Huts beach resort. Apparently they added the upper level towards the end of last year and behind the front facade the back of the huts looked like a building site. There were steps up to the elevated section that overlooked the open kitchen and a lot of junk (the only room available when I booked was an elevated hut) and the corridor at the top looked like it had been constructed in a rush (which apparently it was). There were pipes all over the corridor wall and some sort of tanks - it was essentially really ugly and cheap looking and certainly not what I expected for the high price tag. The room had a balcony which was nice but the room itself was very basic - a lumpy bed, table and small wardrobe. The bathroom was even more basic and mine had a nasty smell of drains which came and went throughout my six night stay. When I complained about it someone went up to the room and I was told it was sorted when in fact 3 air fresheners had been put in the bathroom and that was all. Apparently breakfast was included with the hugely overpriced accommodation but no one told me so I never had it. Even more incredulous, the beach huts on the ground level which were lovely were actually cheaper than the rooms upstairs! Whilst in Agonda I had a look at other accommodation - the first was Agonda Villas, the one place more expensive than Madhu, and the rooms were BEAUTIFUL. I would have moved and happily paid the extra but they had no availability.

We stayed for a week in February 2023. Best location: right on the beach in the central part of Agonda, so close to many amenities (shops, restaurants, ATM, etc). The Madhu restaurant/bar has very good food at good prices, and served breakfast and drinks in our verandah. The cottages and restaurant have an excellent established team providing great service, and this made a big difference to the enjoyment of our stay.

Breakfast was good with a nice choice of food items. Great pancakes which set me for the day.

The salads could have been better prepared. The carrots were not grated but cut into chunks which made it difficult to eat. The cabbage and peppers should have been sliced finely instead of chunks. Overall the food and drink was very good. Loved the cocktails!

Location is best, calm and serene beach!

Sometimes when you walk on first floor, ground floor people get disturbed a lot. we were on first floor and even had a small argument with one lady who was staying on ground floor

You see the waves from your bedroom window. Nothing to beat that. Excellent breakfast. The room was a bit pricey for what you get. owner is very friendly and the cooking staff were great.

Sheets were thin and old. In one of the bathrooms the water wasn’t hot enough for bathing. It’s very far from the airport takes about 1.5 hours of winding roads.

Right on the beach and quiet, love the attached resturant, makes for a relaxed stay.

beautiful location and comfortable beachfront hut with private outdoor bathroom. We were able to stay with little advance notice. The owner is accommodating when we had requests for the generator which was needed for the air conditioning to work efficiently.

Our stay was at the end of the season so the restaurant was closed.

Serene location, Friendly, helpful management, and highly professional staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I have stayed in other hotels on this beach in the same price range. Madhu was highly superior in every way.

Madhu Huts are the oldest in the loc and surely know how to tc of their guests Best loc Gives you the view of the entire Agonda Beach right from your cabin It’s cozy Agonda is the probably the cleanest beach in Goa Gives you the best deal The food is really nice here with generous serving portions The owner Mr Shekhar , the manager Mr Diwan and staff Mr Suresh all were very courteous and helpful

Limited parking space for car but it’s not much of an issue
