The staff were amazing from arrival. Greeted with cool drink and refresher towel, check in was smooth and fast. Taken to room by staff who carried luggage for me, was a real 5 star experience. Totally unexpected for such a reasonably priced room.

Klimaanlage im zimmer war nicht gut. Alle kleider, sogar die saubere bettwäsche war feucht.

Mooi zwembad, ideaal met kleine kinderen. Locatie is goed, 1min lopen naar het strand. Kamer was heel schoon en de tuin van het hotel is erg goed onderhouden.
Onze vlucht was vertraagd waardoor we later bij het hotel aankwamen dan verwacht. We konden er niets meer te eten krijgen, ook niet toen we aangaven dat ons kindje nog honger had na de lange vlucht en autorit. De keuken sluit om 22:30 en we waren er om 22:45. Ze wisten wel dat we kwamen, dus dat was jammer. Ik had verwacht dat we tenminste nog wat chips of fruit of iets dergelijks hadden kunnen krijgen.

I think as a whole it was so lovely! The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They upgraded our room which was very kind (although the cottages are almost identical to the normal rooms, save for the pool view!).
The drinks were a little pricey but I suppose that’s expected of a hotel!
Also bear in mind that breakfast is a little savoury heavy - again just a taste thing rather than a negative!

The hotel was very nice, comfortable, lovely pools and all the staff was very, very friendly. They go out of their way.
To get to a nice beach was a bit of a walk. The beach near the hotel isn't the nicest.

Friendly staff, two big beautiful pools. Great breakfast included. Rooms have good air con, and nice furnishings.
Wifi in the rooms was terrible. It was difficult to work here, you’d need to go to the lobby. Room doors don’t seal, have large gaps around the frame. Still great value for money.

The room was really comfortable and the whole hotel had everything we needed. Staffs were amazingly nice during our stay. The refreshment and cold towel offered to us upon arrival was a nice touch that elevated our experience.
The bathroom window was slightly see through which takes away the privacy.

Excellent position close to a great beach, shops, supermarkets, tours, massages, etc. but still in a very quiet and relaxed area.
The staff are friendly and the rooms are big.

Breakfast and pool were wonderful. Also the staff was very nice and helpful.
The pool is open only 7 am - 7 pm, it would be nice to can refresh in the evening.
In was quiet noisy in the property my room was, because there was laundry and it was a bit disturbing in the evening or early morning.

great location. excellent well stocked breakfast buffet. tasty, well priced restaurant and bar menu. room clean with soft beds. staff is all around excellent!! couldn’t ask for more!!
Add sheer curtains to the first floor cottage rooms that face the pool. Otherwise, you have to have your curtains closed from all natural light.

- Although we paid 150% more than previous times the room was not at all as nice as what we've had on other occasions, hence we only stayed 1 night.
- Meals at the restaurant very expensive, but nice little local restaurants close by.

Was in a nice part of town, with plenty of restaurants/ bars nearby. staff were helpful
it’s not ‘Oceanside’, it’s a small walk from the beach where other hotels have sun beds/ pools. so don’t expect a beach stay (you can pay extra to use other hotels’ sun beds)
limited access to the facilities - pool was unavailable due to NYE events.
so no pool + no beach = less value for money

the food at the restaurant is correct but when in Thailand I have high expectation and this is not where I liked to eat in Kao Lak

Peaceful location within few minutes of the beach. Good Palm villa and views of gardens and pools. Well kept gardens are beautiful. Rooms cleaned daily and pool towels too. Toiletries in bathroom but not soap for some reason (glad we had a small bar with us). Good breakfast but didn’t eat in evenings. Would return

Great value for money in a lovely, well maintained resort.
Food at the restaurant was seriously over priced and poor quality but there are lots of places to eat near by.

Very traditional Thai. Good sized room and balcony. Staff, fantastic. Very clean and housekeeping very attentive. Breakfast good, maybe a bit more variety but did not go hungry. Just attention to detail and thoughtfulness.

Breakfast was basic but still fine (no bacon on any day though if you like your bacon) pools were great there was always a lounge available, you could order drinks/food at the pool bar and still sit around the pool. Staff were lovely as usual.
