The staff was exceptionally friendly and resourceful helping us with recommendations that were excellent, packing a painting to ship home, catching taxis, proactively suggesting I book the spa while there was availability, etc.

Excellent and helpful staff, all with better English than my Spanish! The location is right in the centre of Madrid with lots of bars and restaurants around. Hop On; Hop Off bus service right outside the hotel.

The glass fronted toilet door did not leave much to the imagination.

shower / spa / gym facilities. not up for a spa 5 star hotel, showers have not enough water pressure, toilet with glass door-not my best experience- outdated taps on shower , do not work properly . very noisy room -we mentioned it at the check in and they said it was not noisy…-

Excellent location in the beautiful 19th century building. Staff is well trained and very accommodating. Thabks to Alina and Ilia!

Rooms are large, but bathrooms occupied most of the space. No lounge or rest area in the lobby. Also rooms are a little dated.

no driveway means having to leave the car in the middle of a very busy square (with buses and traffic -before it is parked)

staying on 1st floor we heard loud club music until the early hours swimming pool was more of a plunge pool gym was tiny, should have had less cardio machines and a wider selection of weights

i did not like that the pictures were totally different than what is in real life. no two sinks. no space to put your things in the bathroom. the staff was nice but we asked for towels and they forgot and you had to call again. i expected more to be honest
