No elevator to take your luggage to 2.nd floor!!

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful view. Clean and well-kept property. Phenomenal hospitality. Great dinner at the restaurant. Incredible wine selection/cellar. Great breakfast. Our favorite part of the trip so far!

The property is situated up a beautiful mountain. You get to experience an amazing view staying at this property!

Although there were breathtaking views when reaching the hotel, you will definitely need to hire a car or take your own to get there.

It is set in a beautiful location and our room had windows that looked over the back of the property onto the mountains, where we saw and heard lots of deer. The room was clean and comfortable with a good private bathroom. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was also amazing!! It was so delicious and they used seasonal produce and lots of local wines. They even had a mushroom menu! The buffet breakfast was also wonderful. Would 100% go back there again.

Close enough to the lake and far enough from the lake. Useful bus stop to Argegno centre right outside. Plenty of parking.

This place was amazing, friendly staff, amazing restaurant and wonderful wine selection. Close to everything and very quiet in the evening which was great! I highly recommend!

The hotel had a great view and a beautiful room. I It was a cute town along Lake Como with good restaurants and a chill vibe.

The property was at the top of the hill and made it difficult to walk down into town. We chose to drive but then had to find parking at the bottom.

Locanda Sant'Anna was absolutely beautiful. The location above Argegno gave us incredible views down onto the lake and surrounding hills from both the suite balcony and our tables at both breakfast and dinner. The staff were lovely and helpful, happy to accommodate requests for us and perfectly able to understand us in both English and my imperfect Italian! The food at the hotel was incredible, as someone with dietary limitations my requests for alteration were easily met and at no point did I feel like I'd had anything less than an excellent meal. My partner had a similarly happy experience at all our meals, including a Tirimasu she called 'the best thing she'd ever eaten!' It's a short drive down the hill to the lakeside where there are plenty of places to stop for food or activities and although we did not explore public transport options for the lake area the train links to Milan from Como were cheap and reliable offering a great way to see another city without having to stay in a metropolitan area. If that wasn't enough reason to visit there is also an electric car charger owned and operated by the hotel and priced very reasonably, although Brits be aware it may only charge using 1 phase with a UK type 2 cable, so it would be best used to top up overnight if possible. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again. Grazie mille a tutti e alla prossima!
