in a beautiful environment, practically in the center of the capital of Kefalonia. absolutely fantastic breakfast! don't expect breakfast like in a classic hotel. scrambled eggs and bacon atc., but you will enjoy absolutely famous Greek white yogurt, homemade products, croissants, other pastries, eggs. This accommodation also has a restaurant and in the evening you can also have dinner, which is also worth it. You just have to make a reservation. the staff was nice, helpful, they take good care of all the guests. The hotel is slightly uphill, but we don't mind the movement anyway, and thanks to the hill you have beautiful views at breakfast :) and right above the accommodation there is a cafe with a beautiful view :) try it here too

the only thing I would complain about are the rooms with a terrace. The terrace is perfect, equipped with seating, a drying rack for laundry, but in the evening, when guests come to eat at the restaurant, you can see right into their plates and they have a view of us sitting in our pajamas on the terrace. It would be more private. You need a screen or a curtain and on thing, the restaurant is open until midnight and you constantly hear noise from the restaurant. we go to sleep early and this disturbed us a bit.

Stunning location. Rooms were kept very clean and Giannis was a very welcoming and helpful host. The breakfasts in their garden were lovely and freshly made.

We had an excellent stay and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. ( However, it would have been good to have a bottle of water left in the fridge on our arrival )

Beautiful apartment, great views. Delicious traditional breakfasts brought to us each day. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and amenable. Giannis & his family were a delight. Great communication Good recommendations As it was slightly out of season it was a little cold in the property at night and I asked for blankets, within in minutes we had great big lovely blankets for each bed.

Would have liked to have been able to do my own laundry but really it was no problem as Giannis was able to take anything away and have it washed for a small fee.

The breakfasts were excellent different every day and always delicious with local ingredients and homemade preserves. The location was perfect for walking into the town and being elevated the views from the terrace were lovely . Our host Yiannis and his wife were more than welcoming and have made Liostasi Retreat into a very pretty place with a garden . Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the garden as much as we would have liked as it was windy, changeable weather but to be expected in mid April.

The breakfast was late the first morning, poor the second ..we had to go and have our breakfast elsewhere..it delayed our trip plans.

The location, breakfast was good and promptly delivered every morning.

I perceived it to be bigger from the photos, little space for a family of four to sit and eat inside.

Our hosts were very thoughtful as we arrived late and in a storm. We were upgraded and made comfortable. Lovely breakfast with great view.

Everyone who worked here was so friendly, helpful, so lovely they made me feel really welcome. The view and gardens were beautiful, breakfast was great. Absolutely loved it here, wish id stayed longer. Close to town but far enough out that it was really quiet so my sleep was good too.

Lovely very accommodating young couple own it and offer an amazing dinner service with products fresh from their organic garden.

Great views over the port etc & beautiful garden The owners were charming & attentive. I booked on the spur of the moment & organised me a cab etc. Real family business with great cooking forth from their own garden and home-made jams for breakfast.

Gorgeous place, owned by a young friendly couple. A few minutes walking from the city center with a wonderful olive garden, lots of flowers,spotless clean. Even we paid for the 2 bedrooms apartament, they offered us the maissonette, which was even better. Lovely breakfast, served în the garden with organic food, produced by themselves. Amazing views from the balconies.

Everything was really nice, I can't find anything to complain.

The food is amazing! A lot of what they serve is produced in their own organic garden. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very good shower. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is 5 min by car from city center (or 15 min walk).

All staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. They helped us with the most interesting places. Everything is very clean and they are careful with covid measures. The garden in front of the apartments is very cosy, beautiful and with a view to the sea. The garden is where they serve the breakfast which is very nice and with ingredients cultivated by them. I really recommend this place!

Lovely grounds with beautiful trees, very friendly hosts, excellent views from the hill, good access to the town with restaurants and shops, very clean, all sheets and towels looked new, great value for money - thank you!!

Oven in the kitchen didn’t work, to heat up some take-away food. But on the plus side - it was very easy to get great food from the town close by.
