Host was super nice and helpful! House has everything you need. Area is beautiful, relaxing, quiet

There was no public transport after 5:30 pm and no shops or medium-budget restaurants available, we had to spent a lot of money on taxis. But that has of course nothing to do with the accomodation which was really great. Next time we rent a car

4 of us stayed 2 nights in 2 twin rooms on 27th and 28th Feb 2023. We love the cosiness, cleanliness and spacious rooms, warmth, the use of the big kitchen, and dining hall in the chalet. Love the quiet and beautiful winter surroundings too. Staff - Roisin and Toshiya were responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay in coordinating our ski lessons, rental and meal information.

I would suggest that new visitors, especially first timers, be advised to drive as accessibility by public transport may be cumbersome if one has big luggage.

Good amenities. Good advice from the workers there on where to ski and onsen. Exactly as expected.

Room is quite small, but that was expected

Close to bus stop and able to walk to the mountain. House was clean.

Bed was uncomfortable felt like sleeping on a box spring. No comfortable spot to hang out in common area. Nothing close by in terms of getting food and supplies. Heat in the house was always turned up and too hot.

warm, clean, comfortable. The higashiyama pension house bus stop is less than 5 minutes away. If you have the niseko all mountain ski pass you can ride the bus for free. The bus runs ever hour and you can reach all four ski resorts in the niseko area and many shops, bars, restaurants and grocery stores. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they helped me with check in process, equipment rental, bus schedules and airport transport and everything in between, it was a pleasant experience.

not many food vendors, restaurants nearby, but the bus stop is shot walking distance away and with a little preparations, this can be easily taking care of
