How local everything is

The neighbours have tormented me and my partner using aggressive behaviour and we’ve encountered countless accusations. I’ve been locked out of the building too. Some practical utilities didn’t work on arrival, the dishwasher wasn’t cleaning the dishes correctly. The shower hose was broken, also the hot water runs out quickly. The walls are dirty from guests prior to us/it’s lived in from the look of the walls. The sofa bed is old and uncomfortable, I don’t recommend this apartment sleep 4 people.

I would have preferred if the room had a door separating it from the hall and locking it from the inside to preserve privacy for the couple.

The bed was comfortable. Basic no frills accommodation. TV worked. Internet ok.

Extortionate £100 parking fine for mistakenly thinking as a (temp) resident you could park at the property. Daylight robbery. Don't do this, expensive mistake, ruined our stay. Don't even unload the car there, just drag your suitcases a 10 min walk. A faff to find a 24hr car park. Sofa: terribly uncomfortable as the bed frame doesn't fit flush so the cushions are at a sloping angle. A previous reviewer's complaint is addressed that it "isn't broken" and is "user error" but sofa like this when we arrived and we were not going to try and force it and potentially cause damage. It functioned as a bed ok. As there isn't any dishwasher tabs (and because we don't have a dishwasher at home) we didn't think to invest in a box to bring. I assume previous residents went without and just put stuff in there without detergent as all the cups were absolutely filthy. I scrubbed about 6 of them but beware the rest. It's a real nuisance trying to wash up in the sink as there is no drainer board or draining rack (I checked all the cupboards) and no washing up liquid but we'd bought our own. A broken glass in the cupboard. There were utility knives for cutting veg, etc. but no dinner service knives at all! Bring your own, lol. Incredibly complicated faff having to upload a selfie and passport photos prior to arrival & so many instructions and emails to wade through which is probably why we missed the fact that parking not available with the accommodation. If you struggle to find key fob in dark, it's ok it's under all the leaves so eventually found it. No towel hooks or toothbrush holder in bathroom.

The apartment is clean and nice. Feels safe.
