We booked spontaneously and we did everything right! This is the perfect place to stay in Luang Prabang. You can easily reach everything you want to see and the staff will help you with everything you might need. You can also book with them without any extra charges. We also rented a scooter by the hotel, they bought train tickets for us and we used the laundry service. They even provide a visa service in case you will go to Vietnam afterwards. All in all, it was nothing but great!

Breakfast could improve a little, but it’s okay

Everything was exceptional. I’d like to mention that Steve, the manager - has excellent people skills, always available and ready to be of service. He’s warm, still very professional and knowledgeable. Outstanding experience.

We loved the friendly welcome and the very smart new room. Quite spacious with comfortable beds. Nice breakfast, and lots of help with trips, laundry etc. Bamboo garden was about 5 minutes walk away and was an excellent recommendation for dinner.

Loo seat was loose and a little further from the old town than some properties, but only about 7 minutes walk from the Night Market and Royal Palace .

Ho amato il mio soggiorno al Museum Inn! Il personale era super cordiale e accomodante. Parlavano bene l'inglese. La posizione è vicina a tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno. Possono anche prenotare tour e trasporti, rendendolo estremamente comodo. Le camere erano belle e pulite e c'era acqua calda! La colazione inclusa è deliziosa e semplice!

The staff were absolutely exceptional. They were very kind and attentive, always doing they their best to accommodate our requests. We only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and spacious with strong AC, and for breakfast you can choose from multiple options. They also offer the best exchange rate we found in the city and gave us recommendations on what to do when we first checked in, which was super helpful for us. Definitely recommend and we'll stay there again if we ever return to Luang Prabang!

I had an amazing experience at this place! Initially booked for 3 nights but extended to 5, concluding my one-month tour here. The genuine warmth of the staff, prime location, and impeccable cleanliness provided an authentic and beautiful stay. Daily water, tea, and snacks, along with meticulous housekeeping, contribute to a consistently neat environment. The nutritious breakfast is served with a welcoming smile. Steve was the hotel manager and the absolute best. Got us a bike, high speed train tix (when they were sold out!). Rooms were great with hot water, good Wi-Fi and awesome bed topper. I’d refer this to all my close friends Thanks Steve!!

The reason for the low score is simple, there is a rooster that is directly outside the entire set of rooms. There’s no avoiding it. It starts at 2:45am and doesn’t stop , yes, it doesn’t stop. I’m not talking about a rooster that is down the street. This one is on top of you right outside your door with a super loud pitch. I’m sorry, I would of never stayed here if I had known I’d have anxiety every night before I went to sleep thinking about that darn rooster . I lost sleep on a vacation due to this annoyance. If your staying here, ask first about it before you book to see if there’s been any updates. Sorry Steve but it had to be said …

We stayed in a basic room which was located on the ground floor. The room had a good size and you will find everything you need, even a mini fridge! The bed was spotless and very comfortable. But more important than the room was the staff. The manager Mr. Steve is an exceptional host. He will help you with anything you might want to explore or you might need during your stay. He made our stay so much easier and enjoyable. Thank you Steve! You are the heart and soul of the place.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Room and facilities were clean and bed was comfortable, central location, room equipment… everything was there :) Steve from the reception was adorable and very helpful to help me arrange tour, scooter rentals, even activities in Van Vieng. I recommend for any first timer in Luang Prabang.

I liked the simplicity of the place, small, clean and very pleasant staff.

Would have preferred a more varied breakfast and fresh baguettes.

Very kind staff, great location close to street food and shops, a few min by walk from the city center. I strongly recommend the hotel trip to the Kuang Si waterfalls and Pak Ou caves. The combined tour was a little pricy (50USD per person) but totally worth it with fantastic lunch at the elephant conservation center.
