Extremely much noise from a bar downstairs.

The location is great, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.

Upon arrival, we were told that the kitchen would be open until 21.00, and that we could get a pizza until 23.00. When we went for a quick meal at 19.15 however, a less than helpful member of staff informed us that we were to late to get a meal, and she offered no tips or alternatives. Selje is a tiny place, and on a Sunday evening, not exactly abundant with options. To pay NOK 2,000 per night for a small room with a bunk bed and a small double, no en-suite bathroom, and no dedicated amenities except bedding and towels, is not great value for money - and the "Deluxe" description is far from accurate. The room was also very warm, despite no in-room heating being on and the temperature outside being relatively modest.
