Enjoyed the property.
Communication with the property manager was great. I would love to stay again when i have more time to truly enjoy the property. Route to the convention center was easy.

The four of us found this house to be the perfect spot for our convention at the Kay Bailey Convention Center. Just a 10-minute drive to the convention and the house is one mile from awesome bars and restaurants! Loved it!

Large house and many bedrooms make it a great location for a family stay.

Had a wonderful experience. The home was very accommodating with supplies and games. Decor was great and beds were comfy. Would recommend 10/10.

The location was perfect…close to lots of local restaurants and clubs/bars. The house had tons of space and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be a punch list of items repaired such as improved water pressure, master bath drain, and repaint most of the walls. Overall, this property worked perfectly for our short stay and we would recommend it to others.

Pretty, clean & roomy!
We really enjoyed this property!! Large island in the kitchen was an immediate draw for conversation as we prepared dinner. Comfy sectional in the family room, generous closets and pretty bathrooms make this property stand out.

Clean and spacious property
This is a great rental in an up and coming area of Dallas . We didn't cook one meal in the gorgeous kitchen because of the proximity to all of our favorite restaurants. The finishes were all very tasteful in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plus the beds were very comfortable ! 2 car garage was a big plus. Overall a terrific stay !

City Adventure
We needed a place to stay in the city while our home in the suburbs was undergoing storm damage repairs. The Big House on the Prairie was just what we needed. Plenty of space and a bedroom for everybody (my wife and I plus 3 kids). And the location was fantastic, putting us close to schools and work, not to mention a wide variety of amazing dining options just minutes away. It was perfect for us and would also be a great location for people visiting Dallas from elsewhere.

Gorgeous
This house was beautiful! Spacious, well decorated, high quality appliances, amazing shower & tub! There is a bit of water damage in part of the ceiling and we never found the garage door opener, so that's why the slightly less than perfect score.

Excellent place to stay
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is beautiful and spacious, and looks even better then the pictures. Only issue we encountered was a water leak downstairs, coming from an upstairs restroom. I messaged the owner as soon as we noticed, and there were no issues with getting my deposit back. Beside that, which wasn't much of an inconvenience, everything was exactly as we had hoped. Also, in reference to other reviews, there were enough pots and toilet paper for our stay.

As advertised
Large spacious home perfect for a friends weekend getaway. Couple of minor fixes from a 5-star review. Could have been cleaner. Upstairs fan very noisy. Surrounding neighborhood a little sketchy after dark.

I stayed here with a bridal party over Labor Day weekend. For the most part, I would say that the house is as advertised. It's big and open with lots of space, and the location is pretty good as it is only a short Uber/Lyft from the downtown area. Checkin and checkout were both very easy. The house is a new build so it has some issues. Other renters have mentioned this in their reviews and the issues still aren't fixed. I'm unsure if this is because they recently stayed and the owners haven't had time to correct these, or if it's because they just don't intend to fix them. Here are the problems I encountered:- No toilet paper in the house (I will admit that I contacted the property manager who sent someone over within about an hour).- Only one roll of paper towels (which ran out the first night).- No trash bags.- Not very clean. I found a dirty q-tip on the floor in the master bathroom, lots of crumbs and food in the couch, food stains on the ironing board which ruined an expensive dress shirt.- The home description states that there should be at least one day between renters due to the pandemic and need to disinfect, however when I asked for early checkin it was denied due to renters checking out that morning.- The kitchen is really lacking utensils making it very difficult to prepare a meal for a big group. For example there isn't even a toaster. It's not terrible, but could definitely use some attention. There aren't even any rags or sponges available to wipe down the counters between meals. - No hangers in any of the closets.- One of the bedrooms had no power. I had to find the fuse box and flip the fuse to restore power. - The couch in the living room was damaged. The arm rest was not secured.- Light cover missing on the stairwell. Broken towel racks in some of the bathrooms.- Water damage on the ceiling above the dining table. - Wasp nest in the gutter/drain near the front door. All of these issues by themselves would not be major issues, but all of them combined make a vacation stay unnecessarily difficult and therefore difficult for me to leave a perfect review. Probably most importantly, when I sent the property manger this list of issues, he offered me a $75 return in order for me to leave a 5 star review. My point in stating this is that many of the 5-star reviews likely aren't real. All things considered, it's a nice house in a good location. Once they fix these issues it will be a great stay.

Nice but needs a little tweaking
Nice stay but was wanting to cook and had very little to work with in the kitchen. Many things in the house needs attention (e.g. ceiling fan over tennis table upstairs makes a horrible sound), door hinges squeak quite loud, coffee maker doesn't work 1/2 the time, kitchen not well equipped etc.. However, it was a nice home. I did reach out to owner one time to attempt to get a garage door opener for the garage door, and he said he would call me back and never did.

New property is a great place to stay
This is a lovely, brand new home. It's very spacious and great for a large family. Just want to mention that all bedrooms are on the upstairs floor. My 89 year old father was with us. He navigated the stairs fine, but he went very slow. The neighborhood has lots of construction going on because it is up and coming. However, it didn't deter us in any way. We took walks and felt safe. Overall great experience.

Great for groups
Great stay for a work trip. We were able to Uber to everyone we needed to go. Lots of luxury upgrades in the home that made it a pleasure to stay in. We had great communication with the owner, as well.

Nice place amid lots of construction
Stayed with our family over the Christmas holidays. Very spacious. Apparently the guests before us had a party (at least according to the cleaning woman, who was still there when we arrived) and she had rushed through the cleaning process. Had to do recon to find soap and shampoo for the unfilled containers in the bathroom and found lots of flotsam on the floor. Lee was a very responsive host, probably just time to upgrade the cleaning service. Be mindful that the neighborhood is in the process of gentrification, so there's lots of construction going on...had a loud gang of roofers next door bright and early. Location is convenient and will be great once the construction is concluded.

Great Stay for Business Travel
We were in town for a conference, had plenty of beds for 8 of us, comfortable, modern and clean. Convenient to downtown and great options for dining! Thanks Lee!

Nice property but location is a little challenging
The property was very nice. Modern, open concept and plenty of space. However, some of the bathrooms weren’t as clean as we would’ve liked and the construction people next door continuously threw trash on the property. We felt bad and kept picking it up the entire time of our stay. Additionally, the noise from construction was crazy. The only thing deceptive about the property was the parking situation. We thought, from the pictures, that we would have room for two cars in the garage and two in the driveway. The garage is used to store things (mattresses, etc. ) and the driveway has a cutoff that won’t allow you to park two cars there. Parking on the street was just as challenging because it wasn’t clear where you could and couldn’t park.
Summary, we enjoyed our weekend but I don’t know if I would rent again for what I had to pay.

Perfect Christmas!
Me and my family stayed at this property for Christmas 2019 and it was nothing short of amazing! I requested a Christmas tree since the kids would be away from home and Lee, the host made sure that one was there. Lee made sure any questions or concerns that I may have had during my holiday stay was addressed immediately which was so considerate especially since I am sure he was also celebrating the holidays with his family as well. I would recommend anyone staying here if you are in Dallas, you will not be disappointed! The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, and up to date with all the latest appliances. The kitchen was a chef's dream and the bedrooms were like staying in an hotel. The ping pong table was also a hit for the kids. Just an overall GREAT property and close to a lot of Dallas attractions. Thank you Lee for your amazing hospitality!

Beautiful home in an up and coming neighborhood
Stayed here for a few days before Christmas with family friends. With small kids, having a house to roam around works so much better for us than a hotel room(s). Lee was communicative throughout our stay, and very helpful. As far as the house goes, it’s beautiful. Nice finishes, and done in a modern style. The pictures don’t really do it justice. One thing to note is the neighborhood is currently in transition. That being said, there is plenty of new development in the area, and this house fits in perfectly with what is going on around here. Having the two car garage does allow you to secure your car, which would have been my only concern. All in all, a great stay, and we will certainly return!!
