The locations of the resort was the best point of this review. The vistas are exceptional.

Overall the place was not as expected and therefore not value for money. In fact this place is hugely overpriced.

Clean hotel and room excellent stuff

The most breathtaking views as you arrive. The attention to detail taken at every step, with the most amazing food, rooms and friendly staff on hand made this a must stay if you're in Sri Lanka.

Like staying in the jungle forest - real immersion in the nature! And the personnel is extremely friendly, offer us great tours around the area! Very positive experience!

The view is terrific, particularly in the mornings when the weather is still bright. Staff was very friendly throughout. Food and drinks were very good. The prices for the food and cocktails were also reasonable.

Dream cliff is a nice, solid resort, however the prices charged per night were way too high considering the value one receives. With prices be one 240 USD per night one would expect much more. The hotel does not offer anything extraordinary besides an great view. There is a pool but due to the cold and wet climate one does not really use it. The rooms have almost no storage space and no closet to put your clothes or even bags. The climate was very humid up in the mountains and due to no real ventilation or windows the room felt wet most of the time. There is also nothing to do or explore near the hotel so one has to take at least 30-40min drive to reach a hike or any other activity.

Location/ Property Design/ Staff/ Service/ Food you name it all we liked and enjoyed.

Only Drawback was the Google Map, it shows the shortest road but it’s not the convenient way.

Fantastic, loved every minute. The location was breathtaking, the staff wonderfully welcoming and helpful and the food delicious. I particularly loved the gorgeous dinner and nostalgic tunes. made for an unforgettable evening and experience. And highly recommend the waterfall…

wonderful view, very nice staff and good food. we are vegetarian, so they customized food accordingly. the trips we booked through them were genuinely priced. got free room upgrade

Just fabulous, wonderful location and a complete hideaway.staff were fantastic nothing was to much trouble,food was great and cocktails were amazing. If you want to totally unwind this is the place.

Stunning views, gorgeous accommodation and all the staff were warm and friendly and made a huge effort to make our birthday celebration very special. Dream Cliff may cost you a bit more but you won't regret it.

no spa

First of all the stuff and the service were amazing. The view and the location of the hotel was stunning. And the food was quite good as well.

The price for one night was extremely high for the level of the hotel.

The view is amazing! The food was good, but nothing special. The staff helped us prepare a birthday surprise for one of our friends, which we appreciated very much!

We travelled around Sri Lanka and found out all the people are very helpful, but not the case with the staff at Dream Cliff. We asked them to arrange a transport and they even tried to scam us with the final price.. The room had a strange smell, as it is hard to have an air circulation inside the room. We also found mould in the bathroom, which is a sign they don’t clean it properly after each visit. I’m glad we stayed only one night, instead of two.

Really comprehensive meal options with different fruits and western meal. The staffs are really nice and also share Sri Lanka stories and their own background which let us be more understanding local. This stay was my birthday celebration stay, and the staffs prepare room decoration for me with flowers which make me feel so warm and welcome. We had a great stay in here and will miss this place a lot.

Amazing place and highly recommend anyone to SL to visit this hotel. Views are stunning, rooms are independent, beautifully designed and provides privacy. Staff is super nice and efficient , they give you personalized services and take care of every need, which you don't find in most of the hotel. Mr. Vipula and the entire went above and beyond in hospitality and big thanks to them for making our trip memorable.

the rooms could feel a bit damp from condensation from bathroom. but if you open the doors during the day it helped

the location just unforgettable, it’s literally like you live between the clouds, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and very welcoming , they even gave me a flower when I checked out, l just can’t express the love in their eyes when they serve you, but l was disappointed about washing machine , they included it in every pages in Booking.com that it offers one inside your room, and when we arrived , they don’t have one, and they offer to clean your Landry by additional charges , also the breakfast doesn’t have many choices ,the price is too much for one night, the only thing that worth paying that much of money is the wonderful view.

narrow roads

Beautiful place and view of nature. The view from the room was breathtaking. The dinner was the best we had in Sri Lanka. It was tasty, warm, and plentiful. The Shower in the room is unique with stones like a cave.

There are a lot of insects outside and inside the room. We had a nest of ants in the toilets and some other insects in the room. It did not ruin the nice experience of the stay.

Beautiful setting and amazing staff, who couldn’t do enough for us. We booked half board and both the dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff and the views make this resort.

The pool was cold in the morning. And we shared our room with a few wildlife friends (lizards and bugs), which didn’t bother us personally.

Wonderfull hotel with a breathtaking view of The Valley and beyond. Dedicated host.

The rooms were really unique and beautifully decorated, we also had an amazing view from our balcony. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and the food was really good too!

The accommodation is around 45 minutes from Ella but set overlooking a fantastic mountain view. Staff are incredible and couldn't do enough. The place is private in your personal villa with stunning amenities
