Das Sandbar Life ist ein modernes Strandhaus in zweiter Reihe, das möbliert und dekoriert ist, um Ihnen einen unterhaltsamen und erholsamen Urlaub zu bieten. We had another awesome stay at The Sandbar Life! It's such a great house and the location is perfect. Charles has the house stocked with everything you need and he is always a quick text away in the event you need to get in touch. Highly recommend!

We were an extended family with 8 adults and 3 children. The Sandbar had bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The top floor bedroom and bathroom were wonderful. Some of the other beds were not as comfortable.
The hot tub was a big hit with hurricane Debby hanging around. We loved the location by beach and clubhouse.

We had a great family trip to Nags Head. Convenient location for beach access, grocery stores and restaurants. House had everything we needed. Enjoyed the community pool and hot tub at the house. Beach access was right across the street and was newly constructed with bathrooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach house. It was perfect for our family and it had all the amenities we needed. With parking at the beach, access to the beach was simple and easy. In the 40+ years that we have vacationed on the Outer Banks this was one of our best experiences. This will be our top choice for a future vacation.

Our party, that included adults to an infant, enjoyed our stay. Great location to everything you need or want! We loved the community pool and easy beach access. House comfortable fit us all with plenty of space. Hot tub was clean and loved using it! Only complaints were the house wasn't the cleaniest (i.e. we needed to sweep and wash some dishes), we only had one spare trash bag, and the bunk room mattresses weren't the best. We had issues with the smoke detectors going off due to sensor issues (we think). Charles was responsive to messages with me, however it was not resolved before we left. Overall, we would book again!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at The Sandbar. It had everything you needed and more. It was about a block from the beach and in a really safe area. They even had beach toys and beach chairs, so leave yours at home. The owner was extremely responsive to us prior to and during our stay. We couldn't be happier. The house was clean and included linens on the beds. We loved the proximity to everything. This is a great VRBO. We plan on staying again.

Once again we retuned to true same house we’ve rented the past several years. It’s comfortable, clean, has everything we need. The location is perfect for us. It’s clean and ready. Charles always is just a text away and responds quickly. We love his home and that we can treat it like ours for a week every year. We wouldn’t go any where else. My self. My daughter and her two kids. My sister. My mother and 5 grandchildren I raise. 11 plus the dog and it’s perfect!!!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was clean, spacious, and very well equipped. The only downside was that the close beach access was under construction and closed so had to drive to beach access.

The house was fantastic and well appointed. Close to many restaurants and the grocery store. We liked that it is located in a quieter section of Nag’s Head. Very close to the beach, but during our time there the beach ramp across the street was closed for construction. We had to find a different beach access, but that wasn’t an issue. We liked, as others have said, that the light switches are labeled – that is a nice touch. There are many things to do if you don’t want to do the beach, all very close to the house. We visited Bodie Island Lighthouse, Jockey’s Ridge State Park, the Wright Brothers Museum/Memorial, and the Aquarium in Manteo. All are within a few minutes’ drive. We loved the hot tub, and it was very well maintained. One point to mention: while there are TV’s in every bedroom, they are not all hooked up to cable/roku. We brought our own Chromecast, which solved the problem, but had we not, it could have been an issue since we had a few bad weather days. Overall, we found the house to be very family friendly, clean, and with everything we needed for a week’s stay. We would highly recommend the Sandbar!

The house was fantastic. Location is amazing, beach access a 3 minute walk, close to all of the stores (Food Lion, Food Market, Duck Donuts!). Clean, comfortable and well equipped. We will look to stay there again for sure!

This property overall was great. The location to the beach access was ideal. The property was really close to a couple grocery stores and several restaurants. The house had everything we needed to prepare our meals for the week.
The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the house. I went through and vacuumed the house before we settled in and found dust and hair balls behind some furniture but I suppose that’s to be expected with a pet friendly house. One of the toilets hadn’t been cleaned very well. However, with all that being said, we will highly consider this house for our vacation next year.

The house is fantastic. The main living area, master bedroom and bathroom are updated, modern and clean. The beach access within a couple of minutes walk and there are multiple excellent restaurants within a short drive. I'll definitely rent this property again in the future.

Charles’s home has a great layout for large families and also works well for just a couple. The master is on the top floor with the living room, kitchen, half bath and a deck facing the ocean and one facing the sound. No need to climb the steps unless you are leaving the house. We have rented many VRBO homes in many locations and this was the first one where there is a very obvious first aid kit available. That is such a great idea! The light fixtures for the whole house are labeled which is another small touch that goes a long way. As others have mentioned the home is well stocked with everything from the kitchen to the outdoor closet with bikes and beach gear. The extra large laundry room is also a plus. Communication with Charles was terrific. Sadly we had to leave a day early due to Ophelia but the rest of the week was perfect at the beach!

This was the perfect stay for our mix of families with kids ranging in age from 8 months to 15 years old. The location is amazing - public beach access is a short walk away and there was access to a community pool when we needed a break from the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and had enough dishes and utensils for everyone. And Charles was very responsive and always got back to us in a timely manner. We had a great family vacation here and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Charlie's home! The house was wonderful and stocked well with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. They kitchen has it all so its very easy to stay in and cook or grill. Our only complaint about the house was the comfortableness of the beds. The masterbed was fine but the others could definitely be updated.
The location is perfect. So close to the beach and The Village Beach Club which we love having access to! Its so nice to be able to spend the day at the beach and then end the afternoon at the pool before heading home. Charlie's house even has beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and bikes...you don't have to bring a thing!
Lastly, we were so grateful to bring our dogs with us. Being a pet friendly house, it was completely clean and you would be none the wiser that pets stay there.
Overall, I highly recommend The Sandbar Life!!

The property was extremely well equipped. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. In fact, we didn’t expect to find so many water “toys” in the outdoor closet! The homeowner also answered any questions very quickly. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to take a group to Nags Head.

The home was clean and the location is perfect for beach lovers. We did a lot of cooking, and the home is well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen. We would definitely consider this home again if we return to OBX. The only thing that would have been appreciated is more towels. There was only one kitchen dish rag and 2 dish towels. Because we cooked a lot, we had a lot of clean up and had to wash the towels multiple times. Beach towels would also be great to have available for use. Overall, we had a great stay and loved the property.

Three years of finally taking a vacation since raising my grandchildren and third year at this fabulous house. It has everything we need. Perfectly located. Wonderful people at the village beach club that welcome us and know us by name. And yes before we left we booked our fourth year right here at The Sandbar Life. Our (borrowed) home away from home and perfect get away!!!! Blessings Charles!! Thank you Rhonda and gang (me, 7 grandchildren, 1 nephew, a daughter, a sister and my mom).

The house was a perfect size for us. We had plenty of room all around. Lots of beach goodies in the shed. I would set up a coffee pot on the second floor instead of having two coffee pots on the third floor. Maybe in the entry way table with cups inside the cupboard? Beds are a little hard nothing a mattress pad wouldn’t fix. Had an issue with a handle, a stuck door, and slow drain but I contacted the number provided and let them know. Overall great location if you want to be near everything. Beach, shopping, restaurants, grocery store, mini golf, everything is minutes away. I would definitely come back, so would everyone that came with me.

We spent spring break here with our family. Very relaxing. This home had everything we needed and more. The grandkids especially enjoyed the basketball hoop during the chilly days. It's just a short walk to the beach and the beach wagon shared by the owner made it so easy. The master bedroom shower was awesome. The kitchen has all the necessities.

Charles is a wonderful host and this home is very cozy. It’s well-stocked and comfy. Pasa has bikes and plenty of stuff to enjoy the nearby beach. Only complaint was the Jacuzzi was having a Lotta challenges the week we were there which was disappointing but Charles make sure the service guy came each time the hot tub would not work right we would definitely go to Charles sis beach home again in the future

Despite the bad weather that Hurricane Ian brought to the OBX, we still had a very nice vacation. The weather finally cleared up the last 3 days of our stay. It would have been great to have every day like those. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian also ruined our opportunity to use the clubhouse pool and amenities(sand was blown into the pools and grounds)
Overall, it was very good. The property was exactly as described online and the owner responded to our text questions very promptly. The property had everything you could possibly need in the home as well as everything you needed for beach fun in the “beach toy shed”.

We loved the location of this property! Everything was very clean. Would recommend a new garbage can in kitchen, it is broken (easy fix). Additionally we could not find the pack and play, but luckily had brought our own. The beach wagon, chairs and toys were a huge plus! We had a great time!

Beautiful, spacious, and clean cottage for 6 adults a few dogs. When we checked in, the AC was not working properly. The owner was incredibly responsive and had an HVAC tech there the next morning to fix it. We hope to go back next year. We certainly recommend this cottage, which is conveniently located near Manteo and tons of restaurants and shops in the Nags Head area.

The house is beautiful and very well stocked including a "toy sled". A close walk to the beach and pool. Only downside would have preferred a pool on the property. Charles was readily available for any issues. I have been coming to Nags Head for 46 years and prefer staying in this area, close to everything and not as congested as going North. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again for a good time!!

I’ve been coming to Outer Banks for the last 29 years with my family. This is the most perfect home! Access to the Nags Head Village Club was greatly appreciated by my family. The linens, both bedding and towels are of high quality. Items that I normally bring with me to previous rentals (everything from grilling equipment, bikes, umbrellas, a crockpot and even WD-40! ) were not needed because this home has it all! The layout of the home is perfect -the five minute beach walk was perfect and the beach access at Edison is perfect. We did not bring our dog but she would’ve loved it also. Thank you Charles and family. We look forward to future trips here.

Clean & comfortable home close to everything! Fully stocked kitchen made feeding a large family easy. Yet we close enough to enjoy a vast selection of great restaurants. Short walk to the beach & pool made everything very enjoyable. Would highly recommend staying here!

Only suggestion would to get rid of carpets. Sand and dog hair remains no matter how much cleaning crew does. We also vacuumed daily and did not have a dog.
Blankets in master bedroom closet was covered in dog hair.
