NO provision for load shedding, warn everybody Extremely unhelpful, disinterested staff Having to climb down seven flights of stairs in the dark with absolutely no provision made by hotel management was dangerous, scary and I'm glad (lucky) nobody got injured

This is best bang for buck professional contemporary hospitality at its best ! The decor , the space, the amenities , the air conditioning, the beautiful bathroom with a blissful rain shower and the legendary Marriott bed for tired souls. The cleaning staff did a perfect clean all week so we felt so welcomed on our return at the end of the day . Bravo !

The door men and the concierge got me fixed up with a private company for a private tour to the Cradle of Mankind . It was very high price as I found out later. Obviously the concierge and whoever he recommended are charging high premiums . This left me with a lasting impression of mistrust . I should have been given options . Lastly, the lady staff at checkin on arrival only informed me of breakfast timings and never checked or clarified whether breakfast was paid for or not . But she clearly implied that breakfast was paid for. It was only on the 4th day that my daughter found out that we were paying additional USD 75 for breakfast for 2 for the last few days . Often we book online and such details can be overlooked. I didn't make a fuss with staff buy this was very slack of them to not clarify my breakfast status 😕

My experience at this hotel gets better with each stay & I'm all the way here for it! Last time it was the upgrade of the toiletries (particularly the body wash, shampoo & conditioner). Mmm.. the smell of the essentials oils was giving 'luxury spa'. Quickly becoming a fave.
