The pool

The La Grande is far from Grand!! There was a "Bait and Switch" done when I arrived. I paid for and booked a 1 bedroom Apartment and what I got was a small Studio unit. From what I understand is that the hotel units are owned by seperate persons and that makes for not a good stay or service but they did offer to give me my money back as they knew they were in the wrong. It was already paid in advance though. Also, they are adding more to the Hotel under construction which they dont tell you in their ad or pictures. Very Noisey. The dinning facility claims to have a Sunday Brunch but it is only to get more customers and only has a small and limited breakfast menu and very slow service. The hotel is also off the beaten path so it is an extra charge by trike unless you want to walk in the heat. The hotel offers a shuttle service but again you have to pay for it everytime so it is nothing more than a taxi. Very limited access to food and drink with only a couple very small sorry grocery stores. Overall, stay some place else and be happy is my best recommendation...

Place was absolutely beautiful.
