Darren remembered my name, very welcoming. It was my first time coming across an honesty bar, you drink and pay later as per honesty. Tests a persons true character. The area reminded me of Cape Town, there was a quietness, a poshness, a freedom about it that reminded me of Cape Town.. The kitchen and living areas have got to be one of the nicest I've ever seen. The rooms are unisex. Not sure if all of them or just the one I slept in The room also has locking drawers for each bed. You will have to bring your own lock. This gives peace of mind when you're out and about.. The roomz also feature a tag system, so you get a tag for the room you sleep in. No one get "lost", unless you lose the tag then anybody can use it. The vibe was great. I met a fair amount of wonderful people, both locals and internationals. This was close to being perfect. Definitely will be staying here again.

One of my phones got stolen by some guys who checked in after me. I had gone out for supper, and left my one phone. When I got back, it was missing and I found 5 guys checked in and they were already sleeping. I left it until the morning. I addressed it, I threatened to call the cops, they brought back the phone. I reported it to Darren, he made sure they did not return even though they were booked for a few days. This bad experience was not the accommodations fault or doing, however I'm glad for how it was handled. Unfortunately the venue doesn't have a pool, it would be a superb touch.
