O chão, por ser de madeira e antigo, faz algum barulho. Isolamento não é o melhor.

El personal muy amable y el apartamento era grande. Los alrededores muy bonitos y el centro queda accesible y cerca.

Que tuvieramos que entrar y luego salir a un balcon para poder entrar de nuevo al apartamento. Tambien estaba muy frio cuando llegamos aunque luego de encender la calefaccion se calento rapidamente. Y que no tuviera una alfombra aunque fuera debajo de la mesilla del salon, creo que le daria un toque mas acogedor.

Ambiente enorme e maravilhoso. Staff incrível e a localização privilegiada.

Everything was just excellent, couldn't have asked for more. Spotlessly clean, amazing buffet breakfast for such cheap price, comfy mattresses, safe, spacious and warm dorm, super quiet, historical building in the town centre, so easy to find. Great showers, vast communal areas, welcoming and helpful lady at the reception who gave me a map and lots of info about Guimaraes. Had a perfect stay and will definitely go again.

Nothing not to like.

Perfect location, right in the centre but very calm, we slept well even with the window open. The room had a good size and was very clean. The small balcony was nice and we had great views. The house is even beautiful from the outside and everything was very calm. Staff was super, super friendly and helpful, amazing! Breakfast was nice with a decent choice, toaster oven, soy milk and lactose free yoghurts. We came early and left late but were able to store our luggage in a safe place.

Very good location, good breakfast, very nice staff and. And I travel in off season, there was only me in a six beds dorm. It depends if people like it or not, but I think I was great for me, like a private room.

Can't keep the window to be opened.

Free breakfast provided, which isn't often in low-cost arrangements, especially in youth hostels. It isn't much, but it's included in the price and it's good enough to start your day off. The rooms are clean, the beds are soft enough to sleep on. There's a third bed that folds into a comfortable lounge chair, and the provided table and chair allow work in private. The common spaces are also comfortable enough to be able to sit around or even do work. The provided Wi-Fi connection works well enough even for conference video calls. The location is spectacular, as you sleep in the historical center. Everything is very near. The staff is very friendly. Overall this hotel is an easy recommendation if you're not snobby.

Only a few of the youngest Portugese citizens seem to speak English. Most do not care for foreign languages, so communicating with some of the staff can be awkward. The floor in one room can creak if there is somebody walking in the neighboring rooms, creating the illusion that somebody is walking in your room at night! Very uncomfortable feeling. The breakfast is there, but I'd prefer a richer selection of fewer food choices instead of so many options that stay the same every morning. The shower head in the common bathroom is normal, but the one in our room was silly and awkward to use. Changing the water temperature was difficult. The room's windows could be difficult to open and close for weaker guests as they are old and heavy and slide up vertically to open.
