No real complaints. One bedroom has no closet. So my granddaughter lived out of her suitcase . Kitchen could be better equipped 1 pot of coffee for a 4 day stay caused a grocery run.
Overall location was easy walking to everything we needed while there.
Could use a new sofa. It was Clean but no support. .

This condo was clean and comfortable, with a good amount of space for my family of four. Location was excellent, on a street which is quiet but also centrally located. Free parking was great. Very helpful to have the washer, dryer, kitchen, and sampling of beach equipment. Only minor downside about the location is that Fort DeRussy Beach is rather rocky... Property manager Paul was very pleasant and helpful. We had a small problem with the Wifi going out but it was resolved promptly... Suggestion for improvement: Keep a pool float pump in the unit. There were a couple of floaties in the closet, but they were slightly deflated so the pump would have come in handy. Having those floaties on hand is a huge plus because they cost quite a bit to rent!

This property worked great for our needs. Good access to the beach and downtown retail core. Easy access to parking and good communication with property management. Plus as an added bonus a shave ice place in the same building.

Beautiful small and cozy property at waikiki. Property was clean. Checkin process was smooth. Could have been a bit easier. Paul (property manager) was helpful. Would definitely stay here again during our next HNL visit.

Very easy to find, location was within walking distance of beach, restaurants, stores. Condo was nicely furnished with temp controls in each room. Bedding was amazing and so comfortable. Minor issue was dryer too long time to dry and ice maker didn’t make cubes. I would definitely recommend.

The location was accessible to everything, the unit was good, clean, and safe. It was a little hard to keep it cool but we stayed out as much as possible anyway. The property manager made it easy to gain access.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Niihau building on Beach Walk. Compared to the 1 bed room unit on 9th floor, this one is much better in condition. Newer appliances and clean tile floor, same in-unit washer/dryer, we thought the 2X rental rate we paid was money well spent. A few things left to be desired still:1. The bottom of bathroom shower door had mold growing. House keeping did try to clean it, but was too tough to remove it entirely.2. The kitchen refrigerator water filter was due for replacement. 3. The bed sheet and pillow cases had some stains on it, which house keeper replace them the next day at our request.4. The washer and dryer filters were dirty and needed to be cleaned up before usage. The dryer had no ventilation, so took a bit longer to dry.5. We kept the window covering down all the time. I wish there is a lanai with views.6. New batteries needed for the clock on the wall, and the AC remote in one of the bedrooms.7. The ding table rattled like crazy. We could not really sit down and eat dinner without constantly making a lot of noise.Overall this was a good stay. If we were to return Waikiki with a family of 4 again next time, we will still consider staying here, if available.

We really enjoyed our stay. The ac was plenty to keep us washington cold weather people nice and cool when we needed it. The condo was pretty clean, the bidet was great, shower was amazing The only thing that could have been better was the coffee pot. I would have loved to have a keurig, the coffee pot was a little touch and go and leaked a few times due to me not knowing how to use it, but that was fine I got the hang of it. As well as the dryer took 2 rounds to dry our clothes, but also not a big deal, Waikiki is about 2 blocks of walking till your feet hit the sand, great location, we had so much within walking distance. The manager Paul was super responsive when we arrived never kept me waiting. I will absolutely be back next year, so happy I found a place that's perfect for our family of 5, my son had no issues sleeping on the hideaway bed/couch. We come to Oahu every year and I'm counting the days to go back and book with captin cook resorts. Thank you so much for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful condo, I will also mention there was never any loud noises, couldn't hear anything from the outside. That was great!

Overall had a great time and place was clean and with complete amenities, would just appreciate if there were mirrors installed in the bedrooms also, since mirrors were only in the bathroom, so the ladies can do their hair and make up in the bedrooms while the others are using the bathroom.

We kept saying how amazing the location was. It is in the heart of Waikiki and walking distance to everything! The layout of the apartment was great for my husband and baby. And having a full kitchen was a plus. The place came stocked with everything you would need for the beach as well. Why I didn't give 5 stars:
-The drawers were broken in the closet so there wasn't anywhere to put non-hanging items. Moreover, there is no closet in the second bedroom (just be aware in case you are traveling with someone other than a baby)
-There were cockroaches and other critters in the kitchen every single day.
-We didn't have hot water for 18 hours and it took a while for the property manager to respond, so we had to troubleshoot that ourselves.
-Noisy. On windy nights (which was pretty much every night) the front door made a lot of noise, sounding like someone was trying to get into the apartment. Since it was downtown, the trash truck came every morning at 4:30.
All in all, it's a great location, which is what you're paying for.

My second time staying here and it's still highly recommended. Convenience and amenities are key, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, in unit laundry, and parking are all things that make this place amazing. The floor was a bit dirty so I called the property manager to ask for a Swiffer. Within 30 minutes the cleaner came, vacuumed and sweepers the entire place. Later that day they bought and dropped off a Swiffer as well. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Mediocre
If looking to stay in Waikiki, the location is great. A short walk from the beach and tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. The location came with beach chairs that have huge pockets making packing for the beach easy. Location also came with a parking pass for a lot not far away.
If staying with 4 guests, comfort during needed downtime isn’t as comfortable with only one small couch, but there are bar stools and kitchen chairs available. There is a dishwasher, but soap is only available if the last guest left it. Same with the washer and dryer, although the dryer doesn’t actually work anyway. We couldn’t even get it to run initially. Managers said they would come out next morning but didn’t come until afternoon when we called them again. After they “fixed it” it turned on, but took at least 2 cycles to dry anything. Not enough towels provided to go without doing laundry, so quite the hassle.
3 ac units for the tiny place. Rooms stayed quite warm, so we hand to turn them down quite a bit.
Overall decent experience but definitely not my top recommendation.

This is a nice condo for a family of 5 in an understated but extremely well located building. 1 block to beach, 1 block to restaurants and shopping. Fantastic bathroom. Property manager Paul was very responsive. We recommend this property.
