It’s not a plush place. It had beds they were clean. It had a coffee maker. It had a microwave they had a fridge raider that had a small couch and a few chairs that surrounded a TV. There’s a bench as well but it’s broken and old. Everything was clean the showers worked for a place it’s in the wilderness like this I didn’t see really any insects so that was nice. The cabin itself is basic roughing it man living I would not bring my wife to stay there. It reminds me of an army barracks . But it had all the essentials. Everything was clean. They had a washing machine in the dryer. And all the amenities I would need to live for a week and go to Coach Baseball with my fellow coaches. Way better than a hotel.

We had a wonderful time! This camp had everything we needed to accommodate our small girl’s church camp. The lake & swimming pool were awesome and the A/C worked great during the heat wave!

The location and accommodations were great. Property mgt responded quickly to questions and issues. This is an older property so some of the bed mattresses need to be replaced. Wonderful place to enjoy the lake. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our second year at the Eagles Nest. Our family meets here for some merry-making, gift exchange, fire pit and low country boil. The cottage did not disappoint. There was room for everyone. The large kitchen made cooking and clean up a breeze and the large family table had room for us all. The weather cooperated, and everyone had a fantastic time. The open field next to the cottage made for a great game location and walking down to the lake was an adventure as well. Thank you again for a wonderful time.

Outstanding Property, plenty of room for kids to run and play. Kitchen was amazing, allowed for cooking large Thanksgiving meal! Rooms were beautiful! We cant wait to rebook.

We can't say enough about how beautiful and peaceful the Pine Acres Retreat area was. We were looking for a fun, outdoorsy place to stay for a family/friends group of 10 people, and the Eagles Nest cabin at Pine Acres was perfect. It was clean and exactly as described on the site. The grounds were well maintained and fun to explore. We felt safe as the property is gated and well managed. The views were amazing and we enjoyed being disconnected from the internet in order to spend more quality time with family and friends. We would definitely recommend Pine Acres Retreat for all who want quality family time with comfortable accommodations and lots of outdoor activities. The hosts were very responsive and personable. We will definitely go again!

We had our wedding and reception here. The space and property were exactly what we were looking for. Both our wedding and reception were beautiful. The wedding was held by the lake and the reception was on Laurel Hall. All of our family and friends were very impressed with everything and has talked about using this space themselves. The staff was superb...everyone was friendly and helpful.

This property was PERFECT for the coaches retreat for our staff and allowed us to have a family day all together on Saturday. The cabin was just as described and the property could not have been better!

We rented this property for a baseball trip with another family. House was clean and spacious. Host was friendly and available. It was like having a private lake and pool. Deer everywhere. Something to do for all ages. Had such a great week!

We had to get EVERYONE (including our pups) out of the house for the weekend for a showing. After touching base with the managers they let us know we were good to go even with extra pups. Easy process. Our boys enjoyed the lake and caught some fish. We also got to enjoy a nice campfire and the exceptional lodging. Clean and friendly. Very helpful and friendly ☺️

Eagles was the perfect spot for a bunch of 20-somethings to have a post college reunion. Lots of land, great cabin, lake access. 10/10.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Christmas together at Pine Acres Retreat. I feel like we lucked up being able to all get together and just have a relaxing weekend. The kitchen set-up was perfect for our family meals. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. Pine Acres had decorated the house for the Christmas season, so we just checked in and put our presents under the tree. We walked to the lake and took advantage of the quiet, Thank you again, we can't wait to return!

We rented the Eagles Nest cabin for two nights to avoid over-crowding at my family's place in Kennesaw. The cabin was just a short 20 minute drive to where we needed to be Thanksgiving day. This was the BEST decision ever. We were able to relax, play with our Granddaughter, visit with my mother, our two adult daughters and their significant others away from the umpteen other family members that were in town for the Holiday meal. My husband stated that he didn't know where I found this place, and he was scared to ask what I paid for it, bit it didn't matter because it was well worth it. He was able to spend time with our diva daughter away from the group and they bonded as a father and adult daughter like they never had before. He went for a walk to get some quiet time and she went traipsing through the woods with him (absolutely unheard of for her). They went to the lake and did a little fishing and just had some one on one daddy/daughter time. The cabin itself fit the 7 of us very comfortably without us being on top of each other. We also had 3 dogs with us... a white german shepherd mix, a coon hound/ golden retriever mix, and a great pyrenees. This cabin was absolutely perfect, and we will be returning.Thanks to the property manager for making it super convenient and for the personal tour of the park!! She was very informative and friendly. Just what I like!!

We really enjoyed being outside around the firepit, canoeing on the lake, playing frisbee, and homecooked meals. There was plenty of space for our large group. The manager was very kind and hospitable!

Had fun at the property

The house and grounds were perfect for all members of our party to stay active and entertained. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and adequate space in the living areas to spread out for relaxing and playing games. The pool, hiking trails and lake access were all great activities for all to enjoy. Thank you and we would love to come again.

Do to covid outbreak our plans changed a number of times but the staff was good to work with. In the end we moved the wedding from Vinings GA to the camp when they limited the amout of people that could attened the church, rented a second facility for the bride and brides maids to stay in and turned a big wedding that was to last for four hours into a smaller wedding that lasted three days. The duplex has a common kitchen that we left open all night as people arrived from all areas of the country. With the doors closed people could visit all night or isolate from the world. The kitchen was complete, we bought all are food, stocked the shelves and stayed inside the gated comunity. Coming from Alaska I was able to go swimming for the first time in 14 years ( the water was warm). The camp is not new and you should not expect a 5 star treatment but it is well kept. We had the wedding outside by the lake on a Saturday and God kept the noisy boats quiet until the end of the cerimony, infact one party boat shutdown their operation during the service out of respect for the wedding, God bless the respectfull people of Georgia. Such a relaxing place to get away from it all!! We swam, kayak, fished, and hiked Every day!! The bedrooms are split 2 on one side of house with three on other side with the each own living room and kitchen in middle great for separate families. We cooked and bbq every night no need in eating out. There’s also a fire pit kids loved. Most of the beds were extremely comfy. There was plenty of towels and kitchen had most everything we needed to cook. We saw deer and eagles all the time such a relaxing place! Definitely be back if we come back to Georgia to play ball!!

Great stay. Property manager was excellent in responding even at 9:00pm. Would recommend.

We were looking for a place to relax near a lake in North Georgia, since it was a median point for vacation for the different parts of our family. This place was perfect. The cabin was spacious, we even had extra rooms. The pool is very large, and we had it mostly to ourselves each time we swam. We spent an afternoon using the free kayaks around the cove, sitting and playing on the dock, and swimming in the lake. If you were a scout when you were younger, you’ll love the feel of this place. We were secluded, but there is tons to do. We saw deer every night. It was a fabulous trip that will not be forgotten.

Fabulous Pool my kids were in the pool all day. I had 6 kids there We had a wonderful time. Everybody had their own space.

We had a great stay at Eagles Nest. The house was perfect and the whole property was all that we wanted. The lake, pool, pavilions were awesome.
