Got harassed by property owner and threatened to take my deposit and pay up more for no reasonable reason

Best View, had mostly everything you needed for a family the bathrooms bedding and kitchen were very clean.

1 of my daughters slept on the sofa bed lounge, I laid on this for a few minutes found it very uncomfortable, it was down into bed mode the whole stay, when about to leave I took everything off sofa bed To make it back into lounge to be tidy. i was picking up the cushions to make up the it felt Grotty and dirty, then i noticed that the lounge/ sofa was very dirty. ( so glad i didn’t sit on it to watch tv as it was always out into bed position). The main bedroom has King Bed which is a sleigh style bed, This bed i must have hit my legs/ shins on every time i walked past the bed to use the bathroom., So did every one else that walked past the bed. The bed itself was comfortable but that particular style almost broke my leg.The main bedroom has a door to the verandah, the door does not lock so I was scared to let my 2 yr old grandaughter go near that bedroom. Both locks on the doors that open to the verandah were worn and weather pitted, so after opening a couple of times i found I couldn’t lock the lounge room verandah door with out a struggle so we kept it closed the whole time. The kitchen had kitchenware supplied but the 2 frying pans were useless as the non stick has gone on them and they need new ones. ( everything stuck to the pans). No tin opener so you need to go and buy one, and no tea towels so you will need to buy some or bring your own. ( that is minor compared to the verandah door locks and the killing sleigh bed). The Laundry area is placed into a hidden cupboard, you have to lock the front door when ever you are using the dryer and washing machine in case some one walks in as they could hit or break the folding doors. The dryer is small and old outdated so takes forever to dry towels. The filter on the dryer falls off every now and then while dryer is going even though you have always emptied it after each use.

Brilliant location. Excellent view. Nice looking apartment. Some nice touches like decor and games / toys cupboard.

A few light bulbs need changing - 2 kitchen and 1 dining room - made it tricky to see in the kitchen at night. Felt like it could have been a little cleaner - kitchen cupboards had some finger marks, toaster wasn’t clean.

Advertisement two bedroom. One room was not really even a proper room for the money charged.. the kitchen was barely functional. On departure the management went over the room . Making me feel uncomfortable and like I owed them something. In my whole life I have never experienced this on check out. I have stayed at penthouse apartments and never had to go through this. Then was accused of things. Then in a text when I disputed it was text with sarcasm. No professional behaviour. My family and me have been left with a bad feeling overall. I have been in this field of work and I have never come by this..
