We found this 2 bedroom apartment to be exactly as described in the listing. The unit is clean, bed is comfy, shower is hot, WiFi is adequate. The kitchen / laundry are well equipped and the extra toilet is an added bonus. The instructions for after-hours check-in and check-out are very precise and worked really well for us. The sun rise views from the ocean facing lounge and kitchen were spectacular. And we were able to star gaze from the balcony on clear nights. The closest beach is just 20 metres away. The walking trail to Shoal Bay starts at the base of the unit block. Little Beach, Nelson Bay foreshore, the local restaurants and Woolies are less than 5 mins drive. We recommend dining at the "Little Beach Boat House". But make sure you have a booking - it was full even on a Wednesday night! And don't forget to check out the freshly baked pies at Red Neds Gourmet Pie Bar. We miss the soothing sound of crashing waves... We will definitely be back.

View and proximity to beach

Unit was tiny. We had friends visit for a meal and there was not enough room for dinner. Furniture must have come from pine barn years ago. We were surprised that there was no dishwasher in this modern day, last thing we expect is to pay a load of money and still need to wash dishes by hand. The booking process was very difficult as booked through booking.com but had to fill out numerous forms through the booking agent in Nelson Bay separately. Three of us for the weekend and we needed to stagger the showers as we ran out of hot water. WiFi was not useable

Really great location, comfortable and spacious for a couple.

Lacking in some basics like tea towels and the utensils were a bit unclean.

Incredible view, perfect in the morning at sunrise, very clean, I must say a bit of a hike but I think my rear benefited 👍

A little annoying to carry our own bed sheets , but slept in Sheridan so can’t complain☺️
