I paid extra to upgrade to a suite and it was magnificent. The hotel is a real prize. Amazing setting. Pleasant staff.

The pool is tiny and there are no sunshades- the Ed's are heavy and do not face the sun. Simple things that can be addressed. The restaurant has an awesome view of the lake. Food was very average and the breakfasts were very basic and not very appetising. The breakfast waiters were slow. Lots of them hanging around but not really got their act together very pleasant but not particularly efficient.

The position on the hotel on the river was fantastic. Our room had lake view and we had the corner room so we had water outside our window on two sides, almost like being in a boat. Also the restaurant was beautiful on the lakes edge. And food and service was excellent and good value.

The breakfast was lacking especially in comparison to the evening food offering. There was lots missing on the buffet. Instant coffee and make your own tea. You would expect more from such a lovely place. There was nowhere in the hotel to sit and relax. A few seats in the garden and round the court yard but not really comfortable to spend any time. However, room was so beautiful with views we hung out there, but that is not something we r we gulf normally do.

Location, decoration, staff

Although breakfast was included and served at Ambrai Restaurant, one of Udaipur's best restaurants, the quality didn't match our expectations. In contrast, dinner at Ambrai was delightful; the staff were professional and the experience was exceptional. However, the breakfast fell short in terms of quality and hygiene, as compared to even many hostels

Air con too small for room size. Need more toilet paper. Pool water is a bit stagnant. Softer pillows.

The view from our room was spectacular. Located on the banks of Lake pichola, Amet haveli provides spectacular views of the lake, the city palace, the lake palace and the hills that surround udaipur on that side. The staff was very polite and helpful. Rooms are nice and big with cute alcove seating to watch the lake.

Ambrai restaurant has the best view in udaipur.Must visit for sundowner and dinner

Service needs to be a little fast

Perfect location next to Lake Pichola. Room was comfortable, clean and had great views. Staff was super and breakfast had different options to choose from.

Wifi didn't work at all in the room.
