A modern and clean room with beautiful wooden furniture. Helpful staff. The breakfast was totally amazing… it comes with not only bread/fruits/eggs but also with curry and rotis. Everything was delicious!

Everything. The location. View is spectacular. The staff was super helpful. Shan and the team went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a piece of art. Having breakfast on the porch with a view of Ella Rock was one of the highlights of the day. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We will definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect : the rooms, the breakfast (probably the best of our trip), the view and the lovely staff. 850m away from the center of Ella, but it's for the best, really peacefull place.

I absolutely loved every single thing. The view from my room, the floor to ceiling windows that opened out to the view, my veranda seating area, the delicious and bountiful breakfast each morning, and most of all the staff that was available 24/7.

The views from the property were absolutely beautiful, we really enjoyed soaking it all in from the balcony during breakfast (which was also great). The location in Ella is perfect, only a short walk up to the Main Street but away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms and bathroom were really large and tasteful decorated. Shan the owner was so helpful, chill and have great tips on what to see around Ella. Highly recommend!

There was an occasional bad smell from the bathroom

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were lovely. It was an easy spot to get to with a lot of bars and restaurants just up the hill.

The room was a little loud in the mornings, you can hear work being done around the hotel and people chatting but over all a great experience.

The view is amazing, the rooms are clean and the staff are really friendly. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka, so much food and all of it was so tasty. Short walk to town or quick tuktuk ride. Thanks guys!

You have to pay for drinking water. For the price I think the items in the fridge should be included. Everything else was perfect!

Our room definetly needs some repair, because of the high humidity the walls and the ceiling looked moldy and were chipped at some spots. Bear in mind that if you pay for accomodation with card, you will be charged extra 3% from total amount.

One of the best places we stayed in when travelling in Sri Lanka! Shan is the perfect host! When we arrived, we were greeted very nicely and were offered Tea and Coffee. He was very helpful with our questions regarding the Area, and made our stay perfect. The place itself is very beautifully built, and the view from the rooms is out of this world! We stayed in the Kingroom and can recommend it full-heartedly, it is decorated very tasteful with beautiful wood and light elements, and the bathroom and showers are a pure luxury, with a rain shower and various shower heads, a lot of space and all very beautifully done. From the room you see Ella Rock and a nice waterfall, as well as Little Adams Peak and the whole Valley. An unbelievably generous and delicious breakfast is served directly on the porch in front of your room. The location is perfect, only a short walk to Ella main-town, and yet a bit further from the town noise to have very calm nights with only the sound of the Jungle. The location is perfect for the Ella Rock hike, as you can take a shortcut to the train tracks (you would be walking 30min less on train tracks than when you start at Ella Train Station, which means it would only take you 1.5hours to the top). We did the Little Adams Peak hike to watch the sunrise, which is also quite close-by, and went to see the Nine Arches bridge right after. The Hotel is also perfect to just relax a bit on the porch, there are very comfortable chairs where you can read a book, enjoy the view and drink a tea or coffee. We did this the afternoon after hiking and enjoyed every minute. It’s really a little paradise in Ella (and Ella itself is already a great location!) If we come here again we would definitely try to stay here again! Book well ahead, as it is often booked out ;-)

Amazing place with the most wonderful views. The breakfast is very tasty and every day is different. Shan is very kind and will help you with everything he can. The bathroom have an amazing shower. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable.

Absolutely nothing

This place is brilliant. Shan3 was the friendliest host we experienced in Sri Lanka - he picked us up in his Tuk Tuk and also took us on a trip out to the waterfalls. The view was amazing, breakfast was amazing, and the shower was out of this world .. what more can I say .. if you are looking for an authentic place to stay in Ella, this is it!

We stayed at Leisure Dream Inn for 3 nights in the king room and would recommend it to anyone that’s looking for somewhere to stay in Ella. Great location, set back in a little quiet area but still close to the centre of Ella (10 minute walk). The room was clean and beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. It was on par with luxury hotels that we’ve stayed in! The shower pressure was good with hot water (sometimes a rarity in Sri Lanka). Breakfast was absolutely delicious with super generous portions! Most of all, Shan (and Seiban) were so welcoming and gave us advice and tips on where to eat, what to see etc. whilst we were in Ella and helped organise transportation to our next destination. We rented a scooter from Shan and would recommend this if you want more flexibility or wish to explore a little further afield such as Diyaluma Falls (which you can swim in!). Definitely consider Leisure Dream Inn if you’re looking for accommodation in Ella.

Wi-Fi is a little weak in the room but you can get a stronger signal just outside. Not a huge issue, use it as a chance to disconnect!

Family owned business who could not do enough for you, large clean room, comfortable bed, large delicious breakfast and a very friendly atmosphere. Incredible value for money!

Card machine not working so had to pay cash

Shan the manager was fantastic and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. He used his tuk-tuk to take us into Ella centre, as required, a journey of 5-10 mins and suggested places to visit and eat. Our room was spacious, modern and well designed with plenty of local hardwood furniture. Also plenty of electrical points for our UK style plugs. Comfy chairs on the terrace outside our room allowed us to enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and valley. Breakfast was plentiful and sustained us for most of the day. Overall a really memorable few days.

the inn was wonderful. it is located in a very quiet place, but it takes only 6 minutes to get to centre of Ella. the room was really cool, the whole interior is hand made and looks fantastic. but the most pleasurable thing about this Inn was its workers. Sean III was extremely hospitable and fun to talk with, he drove us around the town and to the Nine Arche Bridge and to Little Adams peak. in the morning we had a delicious breakfast while looking at the mountains. then Sean helped us to the Station. all in all, a very good place to go

Absolute 10/10 for everything. This was one of the best places we've stayed in Sri Lanka so far. The staff are amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. They were always there to help and helped with everything from laundry to booking/arranging trips and the breakfast was very delicious! The room was unbelievably clean and comfortable. We had such a great night sleep. The room, the views and facilities were much better than even expected. The location was perfect for us - 5-10mins walk from the main strip which was quite busy but easily walkable so not too far and very ideal. We think it was great value for money and highly recommend staying here. We hope to be back ourselves! Thanks very much!
