Lovely property in the centre

parking space tricky to get into

The owners were super helpful, sending lots of tips and information, with a great video tour that also explained how to get into the property. The location was very near to the city centre and it was very convenient that it had its own parking space.

Being on a main road into the city, with bedrooms facing the street, there is some traffic noise, but it reduces a lot at night so we were able to get to sleep just fine (even though we’re used to the silence of a small village).

None of the chairs was particularly comfortable to sit on, to watch TV for example.

The location was fantastic - close to the city centre and amenities. It allowed for easy access and shops. The house itself is lovely and has great facilities - the first floor patio area outside the front window a great bonus. The Hungarian resturant near the house is excellent - superb food BUT make sure you mention your in the house as you get a discount!

The parking is a bit of a faff but by day 2 you get used to it - but you need to take care. Stairwells are steep so might be an issue for anyone with mobility needs.

Great location, parking right by the property which is great so near the centre of town. Thoughtful touches by the host and basic things available like oil, some coffees etc and treats on arrival. Very comfortable living room, huge smart tv and another in the lovely big upstairs bedroom. Both shower rooms and bedrooms very comfortable. Good kitchen with huge fridge freezer and everything you need. Great hosts with attentive and informative support.

It's on the A11 so not everyone might like the traffic noise but it's double glazed and this did not bother us at all. Small price to pay for being so near the centre of town which is only a few minutes walk away.
