Sehr schöne Lage, direkt am See. Direkte Nachbarn sind es hier nur die Kühe. Wer Natur und Ruhe mag und auch mit einfacheren Bedingungen zufrieden ist (Campingfreunde), wird es hier mögen.

Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind recht einfach gehalten. Das Inventar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bei längeren Regen hat es an einer Stelle etwas in das Wohnzimmer geregnet. Die Fenster und Türen schließen nicht dicht ab. Wenn man nicht genau darauf achtet, alle Tür und Fensterläden zu schließen, kommen Insekten durch die Schlitze unter den Fenstern in die Wohnung, sobald man Licht anmacht. Die Schotterstraße wird bei Regen ausgewaschen, sodass man mit einigen niedrigliegenden Mietwagen Probleme beim befahren bekommen kann.

The cottage is nestled right in at the edge of the lake, birds in front, cows in back! Beautiful views, quiet evenings on the huge front porch overlooking the lake. Instructions were clear and helpful and everything we needed was available. We only stayed two nights but decided it would be an awesome place for a week! There is so much to see and do just short drives from the cottage.

10/10 for location and view. There is a stunning view of the lake. We loved having breakfast on the porch with an incredible view. The cottage is located close to Sete Cidades down a quiet dirt road. It is one of the few lakefront properties.

You sacrifice a bit of comfort for the incredible views. The cottage is charming but must have had some water damage as there is a smell of mildew. The beds are not very comfortable. However, I’m glad we chose the cottage because of the location and views.

The cottage is very charming. The veranda with the wonderful view of Lagoa Azul was our favorite space. We would definitely return.

Loved the front porch with the beautiful view of the lake. It was quiet and remote. We enjoyed watching the windsurfers on the lake and the proximity to easy walking paths. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked very well.

The beds were old and very uncomfortable. There was a slight musty odor when we first arrived before opening up the windows.

Very scenic and beautiful place with hiking trails around the crater nearby.

Some things in the house are in need of minor renovation. The gates are narrow and it makes driving in uphill challenging if you are not used to it. We would also expect having consumables renewed instead of a couple of unused hair conditioners or decaf coffee capsules.

Fantastic cottage. Location is out of this world. Host was very helpful with great communication. Very reasonable price. The town is a short drive away with restaurants and a couple of mini stores to get your essentials. If flying in and hiring a car like we did then there is a big shopping centre just 10 mins from the airport and after you have done a shop it is only a half hour drive to the cottage from Ponta Delgada.

the location was amazing! It had gorgeous views in the day and of the stars at night. it had everything we needed: comfortable bed, responsive host, lots of space (especially in the living areas), heaters in the bedroom were effective, and a good little kitchen. it was helpful to have a driveway because we needed a car for sure.

there was an odor in the bathroom, might have been a plumbing issue, but the bathroom functioned fine. also there was a dripping kitchen faucet.
