Great home base for us for the week, as we explored many of the surrounding towns and visited family in the area. The cottage worked out perfectly for our family of five.

It is our second time at Pretty Close with our family and again what a great weak. We love everything about this place. Thank you Dianna and Erica!

What a cute property and a great size for our family of 4 (2 parents with adult kids.) We enjoyed the space and the unit had everything we needed. The owners definitely know how to manage a rental property!

This place was great for our girls trip! It was a second year here and we just love how close it is to everything, beach, shopping and restaurants. The beds are comfy and the kitchen has everything you need. We loved spending time on the back porch just hanging out.

Perfect place to stay in Wells. Easy access to rt 1 and rt 95 but beaches are a short ride as well. Very quite street and the cottage is updated, clean , and the owners are very nice and always answer you questions.

Our stay was everything we hoped for, and some. Thanks to Dianna and Erica for opening their home to us.. for making us feel welcome from the start.. and for providing- well, everything and some! One of our most memorable Wells vacations out of many!

This property was a great relaxing time for myself and my family. It was "So Close" to all the great things to do along the southern Maine coast. We were able to spend time in Wells, Ogunquit and York because of its great location. The property was extremely well kept and well maintained and had everything our family needed for a week long vacation. Dianna was great and easy to communicate with, we would definitely look for this property again when we decide to vacation in the area again.

A tidy clean inviting cottage in a lovely neighborhood. It had everything we needed. It's very handy to places and the beach, although it is a good 3/4 mile walk to beach and we opted to drive. Parking lots usually had space ($5/hr). We liked spending time in Wells and enjoyed this trip.

This property has everything you could hope for!! It’s “Pretty Close” to everything, comes completely furnished, feels like home but vacation like as well. The communication was great and we look forward to staying again in August!!

Stayed here for a girls trip with 3 other ladies. This place is clean and beautiful! We can’t say enough great things about “Pretty Close” property. They have thought of everything you could need. The hosts were quick to respond when I had questions. I would recommend this place and definitely want to come back next year!!

Stayed here with 4 friends! Very clean! Had all the essentials and space to cook,grill, hang out, enjoyed a fire pit in back and all you need for a day at the beach! Nice local beach 3 min away and Ogunquit beach and downtown 10 min away. perfect t!! Friendly neighborhood also!! Would definitely come back here!!! Pamela

Five of us rented this home for a long weekend, everything in the listing and ratings were 100% accurate. We loved the location and the home, the weather was a bit chilly so we spent a lot of time at the house and made it like home and didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be booking this again in the future!

I cannot say enough about this property the location and the owners. My family and I stayed three nights and four days and enjoyed every minute of it and wished we had booked a longer stay. The home was extremely clean very well-stocked and in the perfect location to explore the local and surrounding areas. My family and I really enjoy cooking and so we cooked every night and found the kitchen was outfitted and we didn’t need for anything. They had a shed in the back that was fully stocked with beach chairs and toys, they even have cornhole boards that we definitely used throughout the weekend. We also brought our bikes and there was enough room in the shed to store them to make sure they were Secure and out of the elements. The property itself was in a very quiet safe neighborhood. Wells is a cute little town but there is also surrounding towns that have a lot to offer as well. There was three beaches in Biking distance less than a mile from the property as well. Communication with the owners D&E Was by far some of the best communication I have received from a Vrbo Host. They responded quickly do any questions that I had and we’re so accommodating. I was going to book a week this coming summer but they are fully booked and I’m hoping some unlucky family cancels so we can stay in this beautiful home again. Don’t hesitate to make reservations dislocation books quickly and it’s definitely worth a visit!! Thank you D&E for being so amazing and making our home away from home experience one for the books! We had the absolute best mother/daughter long weekend at ‘Pretty Close’! The cottage is in the perfect location, in a quiet neighborhood but so close to the beach, shops and the restaurants of Wells & Ogunquit. And don’t forget the Scoop Deck right down the street! The cottage was super clean, cozy and everything you could need was provided. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay… We already can’t wait to return. Thanks again D&E!!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay in this clean, updated cottage. The house felt cozy and was well-equipped with everything we needed for our 11-day stay. The house is well-located, too -- we especially loved the close proximity to excellent ice cream and pastries, as well as several beaches! Overall, this was a great and comfortable place to stay, and communication with the owners was fantastic. Strongly recommend!

This house was perfect for the 6 of us! Location was perfect for a walk to the beach, lobster dinner or ice cream . The home is clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for cooking too. Thank you for a great mini vacation!!

We loved staying at this house! It is a beautiful house, in a nice neighborhood, and so close to the beach. Great location for restaurants, grocery store, and family activities. The owners were so great and easy to work with and really made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

During our stay, we instantly felt comfortable, it felt like a home rather than a rental. It was very clean, functional, and had a beachy/cozy vibe. Very close to restaurants and shops, we picked up breakfast and enjoyed it on the screened-in sunroom/patio. Next time we take a trip to ME, we will definitely look to see if this house is available so that we can take advantage of its patio/yard and surrounding attractions!

First of all, cleanliness. I mean, we want the place to smell clean, look clean, and be clean. This place was super clean! We were so happy with the feeling of the cottage, so well decorated; it felt cozy without feeling cluttered. The place is incredibly well provisioned. You know that thing you always wish you packed and always forget? For us it was scissors...no problem... this place has em! The kitchen had everything we needed and more; and things were clean, and were in the place you would expect to find them...such a pleasure! The TV and WiFi situation were incredibly simple to operate. There were even board games, plus there was a shed with beach chairs, coolers, even a cornhole game. We enjoyed a campfire in the fire pit, and that was easy too...because they also had a lighter in a kitchen drawer, you know, exactly where you might keep it! The screened in porch was so lovely! We enjoyed our coffee there in the mornings and brought take out from local close by restaurants to enjoy there in the evenings. We loved the location and appreciated the close proximity to the ocean, beaches, shops, restaurants, and most importantly, a great ice cream place! We brought our bicycles and biked everywhere all week. The neighborhood was so quiet. At night we could hear the night sounds of crickets and peepers; absolutely no traffic noise, which we couldn’t believe. The owners were so helpful with everything. They were super quick to respond to any questions and they provided great recommendations for us, which we really appreciated! Although we never met them in person, they feel like friends, as they hosted us in the way one might host close family or good friends. You can tell they really care about doing a good job and providing an enjoyable experience. They even added some extra touches that made our stay feel really special! We stayed a week and it wasn’t long enough....we’ll be back! Thanks so much D&E !
