The one bedroom apartment was spacious, bright and has everything for a comfortable stay. The facility is not the best but that's expected given the price compared to other places. My unit faces the road but unlike some other reviews, I found it pretty quiet at night. There are local grocery stores and small restaurants nearby.

The location was a little challenging to get to places. It's about 30min walk to ferry, and about an hour to the southern point. It was extremely busy when I visited (Feb 2022) and I wasn't always able to find a taxi near the property. Prepared for some long walks. Would be nice to have some bike stands at the property to park the bikes (apartments are from the second floor and above and the stairs are too steep to bring a bike up). Also it would be nice to have some clothes hangers to dry towel and swimsuits etc.

It was a pretty nice room for the price. AC worked very well. A lot of space in the apartment. Shower worked fine with hot water. Wifi was okay, worked for the most part with a few slow times (seems normal for island). Fridge with freezer. Everything was clean.

I never actually met the host or any staff. I came when I said but nobody was there. I waited 40 mins only to be told there was a key box which is fine but why not say right away. I wasn't a huge fan of my front door as it was a sliding glass door that didn't feel super secure (thought all other rooms had normal doors) and there was another door that was open all day but could be locked if you wanted.

The view is stunning and close where I need to be and not too busy as he island tends to get really popular.

The price and location.

Never any hot water. The small bed is very uncomfortable. The beds have a cheap plastic cover that slips off. The toilet bowel needs a lid. If they get new beds and hot water I would definitely stay there again. But of they don't fix that issue they won't have many returning customers. The lady that gave us the key was very friendly. And the room was very clean though.

Ants all over the place however was given a fly spray to deal with them but it wasn't ideal travelling with children

The place is actually very modern, clean and stylish. Light coloured interior, lots of windows for light and has a nice balcony and seating area with a small bar area for guests to interact and socialise. It seems like the place is brand new and still needs some finishing work to it. Otherwise, it would be a great place to stay.

Bathroom was lacking some basics like a mirror, towel and a toilet seat! Rain water leaked in down the stairs from the rooftop. No TV as stated!

Laidback place to stay, alittle far from town, but a really cool place. I also was low on pesos, so the man who I gave the key to, gave me a ride to the ferry, to save me money, he didn’t have to, good man, still great people in the world!
