Very nice location. Comfortable and clean rooms.
Dinner was way below the expectation. It was a buffet with only 2 options. There was only one meat option. They would have done better for the price charged. Breakfast was OK compared to dinner.

Quiet, clean and relaxing, a wonderful spot by the lake.
This is not a dislike, however, there is a lovely sized viewing platform, with table and chairs, hanging over the lake, which is a little overgrown and removed the view across the water.
I can imagine a nice place to sit with a cool drink

Gorgeous room and view from the balcony and facilities, very friendly service. Pool very clean, garden beautifully maintained. Family room was great, modern and spacious.
Breakfast below expectation in terms of variety given the price range of the hotel, which may be due to the fact we came off-season though.

It was amazing. The staff is the best I have ever met. The restaurant food and service was very impressive. The location of the hotel is exactly what I wanted. When I return to Sri Lanka again, and if I want to stay in the south of the island, then only at the ChariLake Hotel. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Greta hotel in great location.
On arrival, staff were inattentive and made us feel like we were an imposition. Sitting around, watching TV in the dinning room. Even getting drinking water was a struggle. Improved markedly when we threatened to leave

Amazing location - Loved the beautiful greenery as opposed to the snow-filled landscapes that I see back in Norway. The whole staff felt like family. The food was exceptional - and this was such a treat to know we had incredible tasty eats in the comfort of the hotel area. One of my favorite experiences was riding canoes in the lagoon.
