The ship was moored very close to the centre of Haarlem - very easy access historic centre There was a quiet and restful atmosphere on board. Beds were comfortable and warm Friendly staff.

Shower facilities were rather basic.

Le séjour a été parfait. Mon hôte, qui parlait également français, s'est montré particulièrement sympathique et accommodant, prenant manifestement son travail très à cœur. Le petit-déjeuner a été copieux et proposait beaucoup de choix, tandis que la vue sur le canal à l'étage était magnifique. L'endroit où est amarré le bateau est central, à proximité du musée Teylers, et permet de rejoindre le centre-ville très rapidement. Certes, la cabine est assez petite, mais c'est un hébergement peu onéreux et conforme à la description donnée sur le site (c'était d'ailleurs mieux que je ne l'espérais). Je recommande vivement à toutes les personnes souhaitant vivre une expérience originale à moindres frais.

Het was een unieke ervaring om te slapen op een boot die maar op 5min van het centrum vandaan ligt! Ideaal!!

Niks viel me tegen. Door het lezen van de recenties wisten we dat de hutten klein en relatief gehorig waren. Dat is ook te verwachten als je slaapt op een bood met 15 andere kamers. Hier hebben wij in ieder geval weinig last van gehad.

Smelt horrible in morning because of plumbing which wasn’t expected that they would run it in the night and few times in morning when we were there. So bad had to leave the room didn’t make for a pleasant time would of been nice to atleast have a warning.

It was nice to sleep on a boat! The personel was very nice and the lounge was comfy. I also liked the breakfast, my girlfriend is vegan she enjoyed it to but more vegan option would be nice :)

She sanitary installation had quite a bad smell and they had a problem with mold in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was as expected!

quaint. it’s location was super convenient. the dinning area was bright with great views. breakfast was pleasant.

there are very steep steps (basically a ladder) going down to the rooms. showers and toilets are all shared and in tight quarters. if you have long legs sitting on the toilet and closing the door at the same time could prove challenging. There’s no space to place toiletries except the floor and it was much easier to go back to the room to dry off/dress… but not convenient. our room had no place to sit to put on socks or shoes as the bunks were too low to sit on. there was only a single plug in in the room to charge devices and the property although has wifi it was not accessible enough to load ticket purchases or check in for flights which made next steps of travel planning impossible.

Small cabin. Really small. Shower rooms and toilets are also extremely small. This is a ship, so soundproofing is almost absent. So not so easy to sleep. Slippers usage is a must.

Noisy rooms

The place is in a really good location with beautiful sights. The breakfast was also wery good, with a nice vibe inside the ship.

The sleeping quarters are really small, it did not looked this small on the pictures. Would not recommend for a longer period of stay.

It was fun staying in a boat for once. Comfy bed. Good location.

No response from the host. I asked weeks ago whether it would be OK to get a breakfast-to-go because of my early departure, which they said was fine and I should request it at the reception. However, there was no receptionist present and there was no reply to my Whatsapp message (sent around 18:30). Furthermore, there is no WiFi in the rooms, only in the common room. Shower was half broken but worked. Nowhere to hang your clothes in the bathroom, though. This I can live with, because it's a boat and the price was reasonable, but the lack of communication is unacceptable.

I love boats. So this opportunity thrilled me. The canal boat is gorgeous. Along with a good selection for brkfst.

Staying on a boat may not be for everyone. The cabin walls are a bit thin.. and it's never going to be entirely without that boat smell and some funk in the corners.

Overall, it was an okay okay stay. The breakfast was good. However, we made an extra request which was not fulfilled and in addition we never got any response for our request. The place was a boat where anyone can enter. The reception cum dining area was locked (with code) but anyone can enter the downstairs or in the compartment. No safety at all. It was mentioned in the email that it was a moving, but the boat was at the same place. Would not recommend it for family or couples.
