We took our mommy to the beach and she had a great time. The view is amazing, living area was huge and has enough seating for everyone. We enjoyed the live music in the evenings and the pool and beach area. We will definitively be back, if you're trying to decide if this is the place for you, just book it, you will not be disappointed Ceiling fan needs to be cleaned, really dusty so we did not turn it on. The faucet in the kitchen needs to be tighten up, it was very loose.

We had a great stay at Island Vista. It was exactly what we expected and hoped for based on the listing and it was perfect for our two young families to share. The ocean view, balcony, beach and overall property were all amazing. We loved all the pool options and shallow depths for the kids and being able to grab food at the restaurant at lunch made things really easy. The furniture and beds were all great. It was really nice to have a full kitchen with everything we needed and three bathrooms for less sharing. We do agree with the previous review that both the dishwasher and dryer didn't work great but was still better than not having them! We liked that the condo was in a residential area nice for walks but still central for easy driving to everything we wanted. Would stay again for sure!

Property was clean, beautiful view, thankfully new furniture since the previous reviews said stains, overall good, just a few things that were a pain, the dishwasher wouldn’t dry at all, the remotes in all bedrooms didn’t work(not sure if batteries was issue, I changed them and still nothing (just a pain to stand there and change channels and get back up to shut off everytime you wanted to sleep. And the cooking pan, could use better ones, everything stuck to them and took and hr to get clean. So we just ate out, didn’t feel like cleaning. Other than those minor things, it’s a nice place and would return! Indoor pools were pretty cold in Feb. doors to outside open. I didn’t get in unfortunately that’s why we picked that resort for the indoor pools.

Pros: The condo was a great size for 5 adults, the views from the living room and balcony were amazing, the resort itself was very nice and the location was very convenient to restaurants, Broadway at the Beach and other entertainment venues. Cons: very very dated, furniture is old and worn, master bath needs a complete redo, lots of mildew in and around shower, shower head was a battle, and mirror was not clean. We did have an issue with the master bath toilet and maintenance was quick to fix. If you are looking for a “beachy” vibe this condo is not it, too dark and smelled old. Parking garage is tight, our stay was during the Christmas holiday so luckily it was not busy but in the summer time, arriving and exiting the parking garage as well as parking will be a nightmare. Suggestions to owners: invest in some updates: painting, remodel master bath, update bedding, carpet in bedrooms and furniture.

My family has been staying at Island Vista for several years now. Once we found this resort on VRBO, it is our go-to. This property absolutely lived up to our lofty expectations when renting on VRBO for Island Vista. Communication and check-in couldn't have been easier. Upon entering into the property, it was perfect. Exactly what we were expecting after looking at the listing. Wonderful and modern furnishings, spacious layout, and comfy beds were wonderful. I also really liked the fact that this property is at the very end of the hall. Being on the top floor, at the end of the hall means there is almost no foot traffic around your door so it's nice and private. I will always sing the praises of the Island Vista property and staff. It's simply our favorite place to stay at Myrtle Beach. We love the security and safety of this resort, and how wel the staff keeps up the property. It's our happy place! Thank you and we can't wait to return to this property!

Great location. Nice option of indoor/outdoor pool although in October, pools were nearly too cold to use. Nice option of hot tubs, one indoor and one outdoor. Great access to beach that was not too crowded, 10 minute drive from Broadway at the Beach. Would recommend.

We loved our time, however the TV went out several times, the only ceiling fan didn’t work,and the dishwasher has mold in it. So we washed everything by hand to be safe.the temperature in main part was nice however in the bedrooms and baths was uncomfortable hot.

We Loved the condo!! It works great for all of our family of 8 including 2 small children. Great area and felt safe!! Nice to have the indoor pools when the weather wasn't great outside!! We'll visit again!!

Love the Island Vista. Stayed there for several years! Do feel like the room we stayed in needed some updating. Walls in need of paint, carpet is very stained, showers have alot of black gunk in the doors. Stove very dirty and not clean. For the rate it should be much nicer but overall everyone has a great time!

Great view, good space for everyone. Only wish they had more extras in the kitchen. Comfortable beds in all bedrooms. Would return.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this property! The resort Amenities were plentiful and the property is located in a beautiful part of North Myrtle Beach! In addition, the stove area where the stove filters are located had heavy grease on it, and both it and the filters seemed to have not been cleaned in a very long time. The front desk was rude to my husband when he asked for a cart to unload car. They told him that we rented from someone else and that they weren’t making any money off of us. They did not want to give us a cart. They finally did give us one. The dishwasher was filthy it had mold on the rotary blades and the silverware holder. The filter had never been cleaned. We cleaned the dishwasher so we could use it however it did not work very well. The sink faucet needs to be replaced in the kitchen. Other than these two things the stay was good. We made it thru Ian. The place is very nice and we enjoyed our visit

We have been visiting Myrtle Beach for over 10 years and have seen Island Vista many times while walking on the beach. This year we decided to book a room. We decided and this size room because our in-laws sometimes will stay with us. The room was incredibly spacious, I loved the full washer and dryer, and that every room had a bathroom. The space itself was very clean and had many kitchen necessities. Some of our favorite accessories were the Keurig coffee maker, a television in every room, the large kitchen table, and the soaking tub. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to staying there again.

The condo was nice, the location was great. However, we couldn’t use their pool towels…but we could use their pool? Wasn’t sure on the logic of that but our kids loved the pool options. One of the toilet kept running, we went down to talk to front desk and was told we couldn’t use their maintenance people. Other than that it was good.

I'll start out by saying we did enjoy our stay. Nothing major happened that we couldn't handle ourselves. It was a nice condo, oceanfront, but I wouldn't call it "Luxury". There was no check in letter sent like other rentals we've had, and the receptionist couldn't help us because they are not part of VRBO. We did locate a phone number and called, left a message. After a while when there was no return call back we tried again and connected with a person that was able to "resend" a check-in letter that gave us the door lock code. But I do have an issue with the term "Luxury". To me, Luxury doesn't give you el cheepo paper towel that doesn't tear right, and same with toilet paper. I didn't expect to have to run to the store because we ran out after day 2 because this condo is supplied with 1 roll per bathroom. I wouldn't expect "Luxury" to have forks stuck together in the drawer or have 2 of the 3 hairdryers not work. But the most frustrating was if one person flushed the toilet in the master bathroom, you couldn't flush it again for 15 minutes because the tank didn't refill right away. I did get an email the day before we left asking me to report any maintenance issues so they could fix them, but then it didn't allow me to respond. Decent enough Condo, but call it what it is.

We’ve stayed at the Island Vista multiple times now in various rooms/rentals. It’s our favorite! -Great location. 2-15 minutes from everything! -Gorgeous view of the ocean. All glass sliding doors across the length of the living room, so you feel like you’re outside! -Great building. Ample covered parking, indoor pool for the kids, outdoor heated pool, 24 hour front desk, convenient restaurant on site, etc. -Super spacious condo. Three large bedrooms with bathrooms, double closets in each room, large balcony, seating in each the dining room and living room for 10. We only had 3 adults and two kids so had a ton of space. -Washer, dryer, beach chairs, dishwasher, flatware, pans and etc made it more homey and easy to make breakfast and lunch while on vacation. *only issue was the property does not allow VRBO rentals to use their luggage carts. We got in late and had two young children with us, so making so many trips back and forth to bring luggage in and out was a pain. Will still go back, but will just pack rolling suitcases instead of duffels:)

Third visit to Island Vista another amazing peaceful trip. Perfect weather and great view from the Penthouse. Lots of room and everything you need in kitchen supplies. Would highly recommend
